Meet Ivy! She is a beautiful, approximately 2-year-old dog looking for a home where she can thrive. We adopted her from Animal Rescue Rhode Island when she was around 10 months old, and she has been with us for about a year.Our current home environment isn’t the right fit for her needs, so we’re hoping to find an adopter who can offer patience, consistent training, and support. Ivy would do best with someone who has experience training dogs or is willing to work with a professional trainer. She may also need someone who is home often and can spend plenty of time with her, especially while she adjusts to her new home.Our priority is finding the right match for Ivy—someone who understands her needs and can give her the time and care she deserves. Koda is a beautiful pitbull mix, we believe she has some type of terrier mixed in. She has been around my children since her birth, however, does not like other children. I have recently broken my arm in a motorcycle accident and can no longer physically take care of her.

Story
We are looking to rehome Duke because our grandson is coming to stay with us and Duke is not good with children. He is bonded with his partner Duchess as seen in the photos and they are rescues from Arkansas. He and Duchess have to stay together. I will not split them up. They are extremely close and very good with each other. Their actual birthday is unknown, but the Vet estimated 2018. We received them in January of 2021. I have to post Duchess separately only because there is no option to post them together, but they will have to stay together. Duke is probably an American Bulldog mix and supposedly came from the same litter. He doesn't like his nails trimmed so I taught him how to scratch his front claws on a sandpaper block, and it works pretty well. He supposedly has a chicken allergy. He is friendly with adults and a good friend.

We are rehoming Duchess because our grandson is coming to stay with us and she is not good with kids. She is bonded with the white dog in the pictures Duke. Duke has been posted for adoption separately because there is no option to adopt as a pair. We received them as a pair in 2021 as rescues from Arkansas. They have to be adopted together I will not separate them. The vet estimated their birth year as 2018. They are very close and very good with each other. They are good with adults and are good companions.

Tito is a sweet, resilient girl who has overcome a difficult start in life. She was originally found abandoned and severely underweight before being given a second chance at a loving life. She loves playing fetch, cuddling, and getting attention from her people. When Tito first meets someone, she can be shy and reserved, but give her a little patience and time. Once she realizes she can trust you, she completely opens up and once you’re her friend, you’re her friend for life.Tito is still working on building her confidence, so I would prefer her to go to an experienced dog household that understands how to give her the patience, structure, and reassurance she needs. Ideally, her new home would have another confident dog, who can be a companion and help her continue gaining confidence.Tito has been through more than any dog should have to experience, but it hasn’t taken away her ability to love and form incredibly strong bonds with her people.

Rip is a truly loving, silly, food-motivated boy who has so many wonderful qualities. He absolutely LOVES treats, bananas, peanut butter, ice cubes, getting cozy, and soaking up the sunshine. He is a big cuddle bug once he trusts you and really just wants to be loved and feel safe.That being said, Rip is very temperamental and can be anxious/fearful around certain situations, particularly unfamiliar people entering the home. Because of this, we are looking for a very specific home where he can thrive. We believe he would do best with someone who:🐶 Has experience owning dogs, especially dogs with behavioral or anxiety needs🏡 Does not have young children🌳 Has a securely fenced-in yard OR is able to provide him with walks and exercise❤️ Is patient, understanding and willing to build trust 🦴 someone who can offer positive reinforcement and stabilityRip needs to be muzzled at the vet and groomerHe eats purina pro plan salmon He will be 3 in December 2026
