Story
Jack AKA Stonkers, 7 years old. Neutered. 45lbs. Healthy. Obedient. House trained and easy to train (he’ll do anything for treats). He’s very expressive has big personality. He snuggles in bed every night, even if he is staying with someone else at their house. Its his favorite. Currently lives with 2 cats and 1 dog. Sensitive to sharp loud noises. Always been reactive to other dogs, but has recently been expressing occasional aggression toward his dog brother (not toward people or cats), including biting. They all live together fine, but a dog behaviorist said it safest to re-home to someone with no animals or small children (no probs w/kids, but not recommended). Would be a great companion for most situations. He is very loving. Loves to cuddle. Enjoys playing and plays gentle. He enjoys learning tricks. Chases and has caught small woodland creatures - not killed them btw, just let them go. Will come with food, water bowl, treats, toys, leashes, beds, etc. Everything he needs.

Story
Sadie Mae was a rescue five years ago. Our life circumstances and situation has changed, and it has been difficult for her. She no longer gets along with our other two dogs, and everyone’s quality of life has diminished as a result. Sadie is 5 years old. She is a mixed breed pup, but mostly Chihuahua and Australian Cattle Dog. She is spayed and up to date on all vaccines. Sadie has some allergies, which require a daily medication and a very minor special preparation of her food (her kibbles need to be kept on the freezer). She has additional as-needed skin sprays as well for flare ups. We would love for Sadie to be adopted by someone who owns their home, either a single woman, or a woman with older children. No apartments, no single men, and no families with young children. Sadie is overall good with kids, but can get overwhelmed easily. Sadie thinks she’s the size of standard Chihuahua. She’ll sit on your lap and lick you to death! She’ll want to sleep in your bed to be close.

Story
Millie is just shy of 2 years old. She's generally a good dog, but does have some aggressive tendencies from time to time. She has been aggressive mostly with my husband and she has nipped him a few times. Since then, he has been very mean her and I can't stand to watch it anymore. She is very loyal to me. She sleeps in my office while I work, she runs with me (we've done up to 10 miles together!), she loves walks in the woods and playing in the water (though not really a swimmer), hiking, and playing with other dogs. She does great off-leash and is getting better on the leash, but she does still pull if something catches her interest. I think she'd be better in an adult-only home or older kids, due to her occasional behavior, but we have young kids and she's never done anything physically mean to them. She just needs someone with patience and compassion and understands dogs misbehave sometimes, especially when they are afraid/anxious. I want someone to love her as much as I do.

Story
Hello, Our dogs name is Foxy. She turned 9 in October. We received her at 8 months from my sister who was in an accident and at the time her and her husband could no longer care for Foxy. Unfortunately I am in between apartments and can not have animals where I am staying. She has lived with cats and dogs in the past with no issues. She has also lived with children from 1 to 18 with no concerns. She is a great, lovable and kind dog. Unfortunately all of the shelters are full in our area. Thank you for your time.

Story
Penny is a high energy, friendly, loving and exuberant 11 month Dog/Puppy. I got her at 8 weeks and she was very easy to train. We love her dearly and want to find a good home with an experienced Dog person. I am older and can not handle a high energy puppy. Penny has a very managable resource guarding issue with some food and objects and she seems to be growing out of it once she realized she was getting enough food. Every day she runs off and on leash and needs a lot of outdoor exercise. She fetches, catches balls and pulls massive stick. We had her help gather firewood. She would be happy on a farm or large area to run Rehoming her was a difficult decision but we need to try to find a younger person who can handle her natural puppy energy and large/medium size. She would come with an array of toys, leashes, tie outs, crate etc. We are in Amherst, Mass Please call 413-259-1730 or email livingartsfarm@gmail.com and leave a detailed message. Must be experienced dog person

Story
We acquired her from a rescue in Texas. She is 14 months old. She is very smart, sweet, crate trained, house trained, and has lots of energy. She is great with our family but skiddish with strangers. Great at alerting. It’s our older dog that isn’t liking her.
