He is 4 going on 5 years old and weighs 84lbs and he is a mixed terrier breedFrom our experience while boarding him he is great with kids and other dogs, going on walks, getting his nails trimmed, and getting warm baths. Not afraid of storms and is low maintenance. He loves bully braids, peanut butter treats, Kong toys, and kisses and hugs. He is neutered and crate, leash, and house trained. 📍 Port Charlotte FloridaHis adoption fee will be donated to the local animal shelter to help other animals find their furever homes.

Urgent request. The owner passed away on 2/2/26. The person who’s been taking care of the dog is relocating urgently due to failing health. The dog is about to lose her home. She is 12 years old. Spayed. No recent vaccines or vet visits. She misses her owner a lot and has separation anxiety. She is very sweet but shy at first. Does warm up with time and proper care. Please consider helping.

Pixie is a sweet 6 year old female dog who was adopted when she was 6 months old at the humane society. She doesn’t feel comfortable with small children, older children like 10 up ok. Would do better in a home where she is the only dog, may do ok with other dogs if you give her time. She loves going on walks and car rides. She could be territorial. She is afraid of thunderstorms and fireworks. I am looking for a new home for her because I work and don’t have the time she needs.

Max is a 6yr old male sable color mutt. We adopted him 5 years ago. He was 11 months old when we adopted him from HSSC. He is very loving and cuddly and loves people. Due to many changes in our household, he and our other 2 dogs, 1 male, 1 female no longer get along. He has been with them since we adopted him. We have been assured by the vet he is in good health just alittle over weight. Unfortunately due to my mothers' declining health and his inability to get along with the other dogs anymore we need to rehome him as soon as possible. I believe it would be best if he was the only dog. He is very sweet, loving and loves butt scratches. He loves being with his people. He loves milkbones or any snacks you like to share. Hes house trained, does okay on the leash but could be better. We just want to give Max the love and attention he needs.Max comes with his favorite blanket, bed, and dog bowls.

After my mother's Toy Fox Terrier, Gidget, had passed away due to old age, we soon decided that she needed a companion to keep her company while she was around the house after she had retired as a school-teacher. Upon making that decision, my parents went to a rescue where they found Misty, who is a very sweet and affectionate girl, though her previous circumstances had seemed to make her quite shy. Over time, she's come to be a loving girl, begging for head-pats and belly-pats whenever somebody comes within range of her affection, and enjoys being close to people whether they're reading or watching TV, she just wants to be involved by proximity.
