Story
Miss Millie is about 2 1/2 years old. We took her as a foster dog. But we did fall in love with her. She is so sweet. All she wants is to be loved , walked and feed. We already have a rescue dog for 5 years and, as we are older it is hard for us with 2 dogs in the car and when we walk them. I can't express enough how sweet an loving she is. We will miss her. We are traveling by car to Maine from Florida in May and hope to have her in a loving home before we leave.

Story
Pixie is a sweet 6 year old female dog who was adopted when she was 6 months old at the humane society. She doesn’t feel comfortable with small children, older children like 10 up ok. Would do better in a home where she is the only dog, may do ok with other dogs if you give her time. She loves going on walks and car rides. She could be territorial. She is afraid of thunderstorms and fireworks. I am looking for a new home for her because I work and don’t have the time she needs.

Story
Bella is a very sweet, affectionate dog who loves people and gets along well with everyone she’s met, including other dogs and children. She has never shown any aggression and truly has a loving, friendly personality. She will be 3 years old in May. Bella is also very high-energy and can be quite hyper, so she needs a home that can give her plenty of exercise, structure, and attention. She would do best with an active family or someone who has the time and space to keep up with her energy level. This has been a difficult decision, but we want to make sure Bella finds a home that can meet her needs and allow her to thrive.

Story
We got Penny as a rescue when she was a year old. She is now 9 yrs old. She is a very sweet girl. Good with kids and loves to play with other dogs like she is a puppy. Do not let her age fool you, she still has plenty of energy, wants to be active and play, no health problems. Unfortunately we have never really had the lifestyle that is best for her. She needs more exercise and is overweight as a result. She is 35 lbs but should be more like 25-30. She loves dog parks but does not get to go due to our busy schedule. She loves being outside and sunbathing. We also have to relocate due to my husband being laid off and most likely will end up in an apartment which will be even worse for her. She would even be great on a large fenced in land with animals. We would like her to go to a good home where someone else can give her the attention and care she deserves. We are sad to see her go but want what is best for her. We need to rehome her very soon and are running out of time. Please help!

Story
Hi new family! My name is Porter. I live in Florida & my family adopted me as a puppy 5 years ago. I’m about 30lbs now. I loveee love love being snuggled & giving all of the kisses. I’m currently looking for a new family to live with because mine has 2 little kids and I’m not the biggest fan of children. They are too loud and crazy and am super nervous around little kids who don’t know how to respect me and my personal space. I prefer teenagers & adults who know not to get in my face. My favorite thing to do is lay in the sun, run around outside in the backyard, and to snuggle with my humans, preferably on the couch! I love my crate & all of my dog beds. I have a doggie sister so I do like other dogs, but probably not the best dog to bring to dog parks because I get really really excited at first. I know sit, stay, shake, & am crate & potty trained.

Story
Celtic was abused by her 1st (woman) owner. So she is better with men than with women. But she will be lovable when she feels safe. 1st had her about 5 months says 2nd owners. Her 2nd owners, one was a co-worker of 1st. She was treated with love, but not trained or socialized. They had her for a 1 1/2 years. They lost their home and stayed w/me 1 month and decided to move back to their home of Ireland on April 1. Said they would send for her in 2 weeks. They kept pushing it out, now they want to surrender her. I do not have the time to give her the attention she deserves. Nor do I have a home big enough for her. Also, I have a disabled cat that my attention needs to be focused on. As sweet as she is, I just cannot keep her. Celtic is loving. She needs training. She needs to be taught not to jump on people. I've started on that, but I have been more focused on her leash reactivity. Because she has never been socialized, she seems aggressive, but if gets near doesn't attack.
