Story
Bella is a very sweet, affectionate dog who loves people and gets along well with everyone she’s met, including other dogs and children. She has never shown any aggression and truly has a loving, friendly personality. She will be 3 years old in May. Bella is also very high-energy and can be quite hyper, so she needs a home that can give her plenty of exercise, structure, and attention. She would do best with an active family or someone who has the time and space to keep up with her energy level. This has been a difficult decision, but we want to make sure Bella finds a home that can meet her needs and allow her to thrive.

Story
Pixie is a sweet 6 year old female dog who was adopted when she was 6 months old at the humane society. She doesn’t feel comfortable with small children, older children like 10 up ok. Would do better in a home where she is the only dog, may do ok with other dogs if you give her time. She loves going on walks and car rides. She could be territorial. She is afraid of thunderstorms and fireworks. I am looking for a new home for her because I work and don’t have the time she needs.

Story
Max is a 6yr old male sable color mutt. We adopted him 5 years ago. He was 11 months old when we adopted him from HSSC. He is very loving and cuddly and loves people. Due to many changes in our household, he and our other 2 dogs, 1 male, 1 female no longer get along. He has been with them since we adopted him. We have been assured by the vet he is in good health just alittle over weight. Unfortunately due to my mothers' declining health and his inability to get along with the other dogs anymore we need to rehome him as soon as possible. I believe it would be best if he was the only dog. He is very sweet, loving and loves butt scratches. He loves being with his people. He loves milkbones or any snacks you like to share. Hes house trained, does okay on the leash but could be better. We just want to give Max the love and attention he needs.Max comes with his favorite blanket, bed, and dog bowls.

Story
We got Penny as a rescue when she was a year old. She is almost 10 yrs old. She is a very sweet girl. Good with kids and loves to play with other dogs like she is a puppy. Do not let her age fool you, she still has plenty of energy, wants to be active and play. Unfortunately we have never really had the lifestyle that is best for her. She needs more exercise and is overweight as a result. She is 35 lbs but should be more like 25-30. She has arthritis and is on a supplement for that. We recently discovered a growth on her leg that is needing removal we found out it is a benign fatty tumor. We can not afford to remove it her vaccines and yearly exam are due next month. We have to relocate due to my husband being laid off for a year and can not afford any extra expenses. We would like her to go to a good home where someone else can give her the attention and care she deserves. We need to rehome her ASAP and are running out of time. Please help.

Story
Celtic was abused by her 1st (woman) owner. So she is more comfortable with men at first. But she is lovable with both when she feels safe. 1st had her about 5 months says 2nd owners. Her 2nd owners got her from the 1st. She was treated with love, but not trained or socialized. They had her for a 1 1/2 years. They lost their home and stayed w/me 1 month and decided to move back to their home of Ireland on April 1. Said they would send for her in 2 weeks. They kept pushing it out, now they want to surrender her.I do not have the time to give her the attention she deserves. Nor do I have a home big enough for her. As sweet as she is, I just cannot keep her.Celtic is loving. She needs training. She needs to be taught not to jump on people. I've started on that, but I have been more focused on her leash reactivity. Because she has never been socialized, she seems aggressive to other animals, but I don't think she really is from her limited interactions with them.

Story
Finn is an adopted Catahoula mix from Tucson Arizona! He’s weighs about 70 pounds, but we call him skinny Finny! He’s an avid smuggler, but could also hike for days! He loves long walks, a good chew toy and lots of loving. Finn has some anxiety in new situations, and it can take some time for introductions with new dogs. We love him very much, and rehoming has been a very difficult decision for us, but feel he deserves a person/family that can provide this lover dog with the time and attention he deserves. Feel free to reach out with any questions!
