Story
Nina is a 2 year old pittie mix that I acquired from a client of mine (I work as a veterinarian). She was dumped on their property and tested positive for heartworms (don't worry she has been fully treated for this and it should not affect her life long-term). I fell in love with her when I first saw her - she is truly a snuggle bug, wants to follow you around and find a cozy spot wherever you go. She does love to play and go outside, but she doesn't like to stay out for long because she gets hot easily. She previously had a home with 7 other dogs to which did fine with except 1 dog that had a dominant energy to him. She stayed with my husband and I for 6 weeks and was truly such a joy to have in our life. Unfortunately, one night when we came home - her and our other dog got excited and it broke out into a fight. It was quite difficult to get her off of our other dog (our old 14 year old man) and for this reason we cannot keep her.

Meet Tink — a 12-year-old sweetheart looking for her forever home. Tink is a gentle, low-maintenance girl who loves belly rubs, chasing squirrels in the yard, and cozy naps. She's incredibly easy to live with - house-trained, doesn't chew, and is happy relaxing at home for long periods. She's great on a leash and would be a wonderful companion for someone who wants a calm, affectionate dog. She does best in a quiet, calm home with no small children. Tink is up to date on vaccines and takes simple daily medications (Apoquel for allergies, thyroid medication, and Fluoxetine for anxiety). If you're looking for a sweet, snuggly senior who will adore you, Tink might be your girl. Interested in adopting or fostering? We live in an apartment and she has proven a little too much to handle because quite frankly she needs a home with a yard. Apollo is incredibly friendly. He was born on March 12, 2026 and is estimated to keep growing to 50-75 lbs so he will be a large dog. He sits and we are working on stay at the moment. He can fetch and loves to play tug of war. He is still learning basic skills and is amazing with other dogs but does not do well with cats. He loves to run so a yard is important. We have a brand new large doge crate with a Kong mattress, his favorite toys, treats and dog food as well as baby gates for you to start acclimating him to your home. Due to breed restrictions because he is a mutt the landlord is worried about us keeping him and removed having a dog from our new lease. We are sad to see him go and want to make sure he is truly loved somewhere. The fee covers the 30 listing fee and the microchip paperwork as well as the food, treats, and toys along with the gates and bed. We want to rule out anyone not serious about taking on our little guy.

Stella is a pit mix (possible mix with a lab) that I desperately need to rehome. It's not what I want to do but there's been a lot of changes in the home and it's affected her greatly. She's home most of the day completely alone and it's made her become very destructive. We can't crate her when she's alone because she'll bark continuously and I don't want my neighbors to think she's being beat. We have tried different things but nothing seems to be correcting the behavior. I'm also starting a new job which will require some travel and I'll be an empty nester in a couple of weeks, which makes it even harder to be a good dog mom.I really believe she just needs a family where someone stays home with her all day and can keep her company. She is a good dog and great with everyone and other animals. I'm worried that one day she'll get into something that will hurt her. We have 2 cats and she's great with them and even my grandkids that range from 2-11 years old.
