Story
Archie is an adult mix breed - predominately Husky, Lab, GSD & American Staffordshire Terrier. He is house-trained and up-to-date on all vaccines, as well as flea, tick & heartworm prevention. All records are available. Archie can be timid upon first introductions, but once he knows he's the center of attention his fun-loving, goofy self shines brightly. He had a rough start before I adopted him, but I have made a lot of progress with his confidence, especially when interacting with people. He is the sweetest little soul, and with a few extra treats will become your best friend. He is highly food motivated, which helps with training. There is still a bit of puppy in him, so he's still learning to take treats respectfully. Given his size and energy, he will need someone who has experience working with strong dogs. While he is leash trained, he can pull if a scent piques his interest. I truly wish I didn't need to rehome him, but due to health issues I don't have the time he deserves.

Story
Gracie was dropped off in our neighborhood about a year ago. After determining she was not microchipped and no one came forward to claim her, we decided to keep her. We have loved this dog! She was easy to house train, great with our kids, and super sweet. However, she has a love for adventure that we have been unable to correct. We cleared our backyard and put up a fence which she quickly climbed over. We have hired dog walkers, tried daycare, provided cognitive toys, used a collar, etc with no improvement. Our fence is a shorter type, 4-rail so that made it easier to climb (we had not thought of that). As much as we hate to lose her, we have to accept that our full-time jobs and incompatible living/yard space is keeping her from enjoying her best life. We would love to see her with other dogs, a large fenced yard, and kids. She’s very social and incredibly sweet and smart.

Story
May Pang is named after John Lennon’s other girlfriend. May Pang is 8 years old. She is a very loving dog, but she does not like chickens or cats. She might pretend to like cats but she really does not like cats. She likes to go for car rides and likes to be sung to. She has a healthy appetite and is a very good girl. She does not care for toys, but likes bones and pig ears or dog biscuits. She does like to go for a run and will stay gone for three hours (if there is a pond nearby) so I would suggest a tracker or that you keep her on a leash when walking her. She is also crate trained. I also have an extra large metal crate if you need one. She blinks and squints her eyes hello; confirms yes to questions and to say she loves you.

Story
We have had Zena for 6 years and she is a true lovebug. All she wants to do is cuddle! She sleeps most of the day but still enjoys a small walk. She does great on leash and is not reactive. She was adopted from the shelter where she was kept outside for the first part of her life but really enjoys a comfy bed now! She is 8 years old so getting to her elder years and we are so sad to have to rehome. Zena currently lives with a pug spaniel and while 95% of the time she loves him, she has begun not getting along with him, we are unclear on all the triggers and if it starts as playing. We have tried Prozac and working around it but believe she would do better in a home without other pets where she can get all the love. She has never been aggressive towards humans although can be quite bouncy so older kids might be better. She is such a sweet dog, we only hope there’s someone out for her.

Story
Maya is a great dog. Especially for the right type of person. She’s a chill dog that like to sleep all day. If you are a person looking for a dog that isn’t super high maintenance and just likes to relax Maya is the dog for you. Everywhere we go people love her and tell us how sweet she is. Her temperament is very laid back and easy going and she gets along well with everyone. We don’t really want to let her go but with a baby on the way we just want her to be in a home where she will get the love and care she deserves and is so ready to give back.
