Story
Maya is a great dog. Especially for the right type of person. She’s a chill dog that like to sleep all day. If you are a person looking for a dog that isn’t super high maintenance and just likes to relax Maya is the dog for you. Everywhere we go people love her and tell us how sweet she is. Her temperament is very laid back and easy going and she gets along well with everyone. We don’t really want to let her go but with a baby on the way we just want her to be in a home where she will get the love and care she deserves and is so ready to give back.

Story
Harper is a loving dog. She was adopted by my son and daughter in law during Covid. She had been abused but has become a loving dog that loves to play with children. She is very gentle, and spends most of her day, just sleeping and hanging out. She is used to running around a back yard with my granddaughter, so someone who has a yard would be best. About 11/2 years ago, my son, daughter in law and granddaughter moved to Flowery Branch Ga, a suburb of Gainesville Ga. My son worked from home, and tragically he died very unexpectedly on November 24. My daughter in law and granddaughter need to move and cant bring the dog with them, and have to move by January 2nd. I live in Jacksonville, and can bring the dog here if someone will adopt her, but cant keep her in my home very long. Harper is sweet, and in many ways spoiled, and would love a good loving home!!!

Story
My sister bought him a few years ago while I was in college. When I graduated and moved back home in May (2025), I saw that my sister was not properly caring for this dog. Me and the rest of my family are allergic to dogs, so he has to stay in the garage. My sister often does not come back more than once or twice a day to take him out briefly before leaving, and I think he is becoming depressed. I tried finding someone to take him, but I do not know anyone who can. He is not fixed, and he does not have his shots. He is trained to use the bathroom outside, and he is not aggressive at all. He is very playful, and he is a great dog. It is just that none of us can take care of him and my sister can not do it. He can go almost anywhere, but the ideal home would be one with yard space to run around. If that is not there, he is great with just walks, too. I can pay for his shots, too, if that helps him get adopted.

Story
*UPDATE: BEING TREATED FOR HW AS OF 11/13/25* Meet Our Sweet Foster Pup! This handsome boy trotted into our lives on January 20, 2025, and has been stealing hearts ever since. He's a playful, gentle, and well-socialized companion who's been an absolute joy to have in our home. He gets along wonderfully with our three dogs and is showing a healthy curiosity toward cats; he finds them intriguing but hasn't shown any signs of aggression. Whether he's doing his adorable little trot around the yard or curling up for a nap, he's always easygoing and sweet-natured. We could see him fitting in beautifully with an established pack, but he would also thrive as an only dog with plenty of love, walks, and playtime. - Neutered - Microchipped - Fully vetted - No behavioral issues - Ready for his forever home We're not in a rush; we're looking for the right fit for this special guy. The adoption fee is negotiable and just helps cover some of the care he's received so far.

Story
These are my mom‘s dogs. She is currently in the hospital and going into a facility and we’re having to sell her house to pay for it. Meanwhile, she has two elderly dogs that need a home. This is Amber and she has some tumor like thing hanging from her butt. That will need to be addressed soon. My mom did not take care of them as she should have unfortunately. They need a home in the next three weeks as we’re closing on December 5.

Story
We acquired Luke from the Hall County animal shelter. His original name was Kevin, but we thought Luke fit him much better. He was such a cute and sweet dog that we could not leave without him. He’s 1 year and almost 2 months old. So he’s still a puppy. He is very active with a lot of energy. We have his DNA report and all his medical records. He is mostly a Husky, Dalmatian, and Great Pyrenees mix breed. He is house trained and can sit, lay, go to place, play fetch (use command ‘out’ and point to ground, and he’ll drop the ball). He has a sweet temperament and loves the company of others. He would do well living with another dog and a big area to play and run. We are looking to rehome him due to a new job. The new job requires long hours away from home. Luke would be miserable without company. Plus we do not want to crate him for extended periods of time. We are looking for a good home for Luke. Someone who will love and play with him.
