Story
Meet Bea! She is a friendly, cuddly, playful young lady (about 7 or 8 months old). Treat motivated and eager to please, Bea loves frisbee and fetch, walks well on a leash (unless there are squirrels or gusts of dry leaves) and will sit and stay. Adopted Bea from someone who had her in a tiny cage outside all day, but they had children who she was very good with. I work 50-60hrs a week, so she is lonely and training is going very slowly. She knows to go potty outside and that she gets a treat after doing so, but she is not house trained yet. Bea is a little territorial and will growl/bark at new people & dogs. After her initial concern, she is all tail wags and tummy exposure. She is super excited to make friends with my cats, but they are not used to dogs and have not let her very close. She seldom barks when inside. I would love for Bea to be with a family. I think she would thrive with more activity. She still puppy nips, so if you have babies, Bea may not be a good fit.

Details
Good with dogs, Needs experienced adopter, House-trained, Spayed or Neutered, Shots are up-to-date,
Story
I took in Dixie because she was experiencing litter mate syndrome with her brother. She is an extremely anxious dog, we knew going in she would need time to adjust. We live in an apartment and since bringing her only a few weeks ago we have already received complaints and a threat to have her removed due to barking. I would love to take the time she needs but my neighbors are not patient. Dixie is not aggressive, towards people, or other animals, she just barks for prolonged amounts of time. She is also very clingy and needs to be with someone most hours of the day. She is used to being in a kennel for periods of time but does bark while inside. She is a happy girl with a very big heart and deserves and quiet place she can run around and nap all day.

Story
Gunner is about 35 lbs and really is a snuggle butt. He can get along well with a cat, as long as the transition is slow and smooth. Gunner takes two medications daily to help with anxiety and stress regulation. He has made a lot of progress with being around other animals, but is not social with other dogs in any sense. He would do best in a house with a yard, as he loves to run around with his ball. Sometimes there are too many noises in apartment buildings and busy areas that keep him stressed.

Story
Banner is a 4 year old playful pup. According to an Embark DNA test, hes mostly pit bull and pyrenees with some labrador, golden, and pug mixed in. We adopted him from the Humane Society of Missouri when he was about 4 months. He grew up with another large dog and lives most of his days inside on a couch or outside in a secure fenced-in yard. Hes good at chilling at home while weve been at work. Hes generally good with people but can get hyper about meeting new humans. Hes completely house trained and knows not to jump on people. However, he is not leash trained. Our hearts are broken because we love him dearly and he is a such a special pup. However, within the last year, he has acted up a few times regarding food aggression. We believe this is due to our baby human addition(s) to our family within the past year. We know he will be a really good fit for a family with older kids or a couple or just an adult who will cuddle him at the end of the day.
