Story
Was given as a Christmas gift I never wanted. I’ve trained, traveled, and taken great care of both Zack (black) and Cody (Brown). They are 3 years old. They come from the same mother and father in Indiana. They have never lived apart from each other. They weigh about 45 pounds, love walks, fetch and tug of war. Filled with so much energy. A great set of young dogs ready to play in a nice backyard and cuddle and snore at night.

Story
Gunner is about 35 lbs and really is a snuggle butt. He can get along well with a cat, as long as the transition is slow and smooth. Gunner takes two medications daily to help with anxiety and stress regulation. He has made a lot of progress with being around other animals, but is not social with other dogs in any sense. He would do best in a house with a yard, as he loves to run around with his ball. Sometimes there are too many noises in apartment buildings and busy areas that keep him stressed.

Story
Hello, my name is Millie. I am a 6 year old female Retriever/Labrador/Shepard mix. I love outside time to run around and cuddles with my owners. I wish I could stay with my family, but my sister (dog) has a lot of anxiety and does not do well with chaos. My owners are due with their second child and this will only cause more stress to the situation. Please help me find a good home!

Story
Banner is a 4 year old playful pup. According to an Embark DNA test, hes mostly pit bull and pyrenees with some labrador, golden, and pug mixed in. We adopted him from the Humane Society of Missouri when he was about 4 months. He grew up with another large dog and lives most of his days inside on a couch or outside in a secure fenced-in yard. Hes good at chilling at home while weve been at work. Hes generally good with people but can get hyper about meeting new humans. Hes completely house trained and knows not to jump on people. However, he is not leash trained. Our hearts are broken because we love him dearly and he is a such a special pup. However, within the last year, he has acted up a few times regarding food aggression. We believe this is due to our baby human addition(s) to our family within the past year. We know he will be a really good fit for a family with older kids or a couple or just an adult who will cuddle him at the end of the day.

Size
(when grown) Med. 26-60 lbs (12-27 kg)
Details
Not good with dogs, Not good with cats, Needs special attention, Needs experienced adopter, House-trained, Spayed or Neutered, Shots are up-to-date,
Story
We adopted Hihi in September 2025. She was taking 200 mg of Trazadone twice a day for anxiety. They thought she might be able to wean off the anxiety medication after a few months with us. Unfortunately it appears she will need some kind of medication for anxiety long term. With strangers she is generally just shy. At home her anxiety (and likely boredom) comes out destructively. She chews and tears anything she can. When calm, she has attached well to us. She is beautiful and often very sweet. We have a lot of sympathy for her anxiety but no fenced yard to run her energy out. It has been recommended to us that we work with an animal behaviorist which we can't afford. Hihi does have potential to be a wonderful dog for an experienced dog person with a fenced yard and time to take her on longer walks and do more training with her.

Story
I adopted Tazie in March of 2024 and was excited to welcome her into my home with my other dog and cats. She’s only around 30lbs but she’s FULL of energy. She is very playful and brings a lot of excitement to our home. She is crate trained, follows commands like sit, stay, lay down, and come very well. She is absolutely food motivated. When she’s not playing with our other pets, she likes to snuggle up next to me on the couch for naps. She is a wonderful pup and I truly wish I could keep her.
