Story
Charlee is a sweet, silly ~9-10 year old girl that loves to spend her days sunbathing, sleeping, eating, going on short walks, and snuggling up with you to watch tv - especially that last one. In 2016, Charlee was rescued (with 16 other dogs) by Stray Rescue from a hoarding situation. Stray Rescue nursed her back to health and fostered her until we adopted her in April 2017. She loves having you by her side and the moment you arrive home from being gone, you are met with a burst of excitement and joy. We would love to see her in a home with soft, comfy spaces for her to relax (dog beds, rugs, couch). We spend a lot of time at home and since she is a creature of habit, someone who can spend a lot of time with her is preferred. She likes to do her business off leash, so a yard is a plus. Charlee has a little trouble with stairs, so a home with no or limited steps is preferred. We love Charlee and need her to go to a loving, gentle and patient, home. :)

Story
Maze is 5 years old in June She loves people more then other dogs and she loves toys mainly tug a war She loves cuddles She has anxiety She is food aggression(with other dogs) due to a horrible experience when she was a puppy with another dog. If she gets a bath make sure not to use hartz brand I think it was causing her to break out and SHE HATED BATHS until We switched to Neem(Natural soap) she likes it baths now She loves treats and knows couple commands but is not leash trained! We have took her on walks before and she pulls a lot she is strong puller! We do want an experienced owner bc of her issues! No young children Old enough to respect her and her space No other dog in home She does come with her crate etc. No cats

Story
In the beginning of May 2024 Bear was going to be euthanized in a city animal shelter in Festus MO. A family member couldn’t stand the thought of this 3-year-old sweet dog being killed for no reason so on a whim she pulled him. No one in our family can keep him so we have him currently boarded at a nice pet facility until we figure it out! When tried out with another male that was neutered, he seemed to get too excited, and it escalated very close to a scuffle. He doesn’t seem to be dog aggressive. He seems to want to play but he is conflicted which raises his arousal rates and sends him over his threshold so quickly that it can easily turn into fights with other dogs just because he can’t calm himself down. This does not mean he is aggressive; he just has a lot of feelings that rush over him at times. He gets so excited about playing with another dog that he ends up overwhelming himself. A home where he is the only dog seems to be the best option for him. Big & strong, yet lap dog.

I got Prince at MEHS as a stray. He is high in energy and has no sense of personal space. He is kennel trained for when we go somewhere. He does not enjoy his nails being clipped. That would be about the only issue you would have with him. He still acts like a puppy since we are his first owners and was found as a stray. I just want Prince to be happy and to be able to run and have fun

Story
She's around two years old, spayed, up to date on vaccinations and shots, and chipped. She is not good with cats and required an adjustment period with our resident dog, during which she had aggressive moments when he was not receptive to playing. She was comfortable with neighborhood kids petting her when on walks, but we haven't seen her interact with children otherwise. She is reactive on walks, but is showing progress with training, and is very food motivated. We are willing to transport her. Cosmo is an absolute ham. She is very affectionate, even with her drool, and won't hesitate to grumble when she needs more attention or food. She loves the hose, and is always ready to go for a walk (well, unless it's raining!). Here's a video of her being an absolute goof! https://www.tiktok.com/t/ZTLHFPUqd/
