Story
Meet Patrick, one year old. He's an anxious little guy and will take time to settle (3-4 weeks to see his trusting side with humans - dogs earn his trust earlier). Patrick feels safe under furniture, esp. beds, but he also loves cuddling once he's trusting. He has done very well having my dog as a reference for what's safe and may do well in a home with another dog that can help him learn the ropes. My mom adopted Patrick in Jan 2026 but recently moved into assisted living. She was not in a place to give Patrick the best coaching. He's still getting house trained and learning routine. We are about 70% there - accidents still happen about 3-4x a week - notably, accidents only occur when I'm home, not when I'm out - a skilled trainer may have no issues. Light nipping issues when playing (no biting). Patrick will do best in a patient, quieter home (but still engaging - loves playtime) that can give him time to settle in, but he's definitely on the way to being the best good boy.

Story
Hello! This is Aphrodite. She is an absolute couch potato, loves sunbathing, and does well with kids. She is both potty and crate trained, and due to her age, is pretty low energy. She has bursts here and there, but it only lasts for a few minutes. She is not currently experiencing any medical needs. She does well with other animals, and would prefer, though not require, a slower paced home. She doesn't like thunder or fireworks, but she is an absolute snuggle bug! She is free to who promises to love her the way that I have.

Story
I bought her from a breeder when she was 8 weeks old and she is 9 months today. She loves to run around and would do best with other dogs and a big yard. She is house trained and crate trained. She loves to chew on bones/toys and play. She loves snuggling, snoozing and snoring. She is very sweet and does not bark much. I have only heard her bark a few times. She is a good girl and would do really well on a farm or somewhere that has plenty of room for her to run around.

Story
We took Otis in 4 years ago for grandchildren expecting it to be short term. We now agree that we need to rehome Otis as we are unable to give him the time and energy needed to be disciplined and happy in an appropriate environment. Otis is 5 years old and weighs approximately 75 pounds. He is high energy, loves the outdoors and children. He stays close to humans when he isn’t outside intent on watching birds, squirrels, deer, etc. We have another older male dog that Otis occasionally tries to dominate resulting in scuffles. He is house-trained, however, he does "mark" indoors. He may need to be in a one dog household. It seems like an attempt at dominating territory. He can also be intimidating towards new humans by jumping and wanting attention. Otis needs a home where discipline and routines are consistently given. He is smart and can be trained to overcome his faults. He deserves a chance to show his love and devotion to a family that will have time and energy for him.

Story
Lily is a very loving, hyper girl. I got her as a puppy from a no harm shelter. The place I’m living won’t allow her to come inside and I’m moving very soon, so the place I’m moving to won’t allow me to bring her. She needs a home that will show her lots of love and attention. She hasn’t been around other animals, so I don’t know how she will be around them, she is hyper and tends to jump on kids wanting to play. She also would do best around women owners. Men can be present, but not as sole owners. She has a fear of males, but can tolerate them if a woman is present.
