Story
We got Bruce at the humane society here in Wichita a couple years ago and he is about 9 years old. He is house trained and does not get kenneled however has recently started getting in the trash when we are not home (something to keep in mind). He is a very sweet dog he is just very rowdy when guests come over or when he hears something outside which is a concern for us bringing a baby home in a few months. He does have a bad habit of chewing things up like boxes/anything left on counters when nobody is home, he will tear up anything that is left out. He loves toys and cuddles and he is very energetic for his age. He loves to play and sleep. He matches energy very well so if you’re laying around all day he will also, if you want to play with him and get hyper he will do that with you also. He has never bitten anyone since we have had him or been aggressive with any humans.

Story
Friday night we were called by a relative who works for a local police department. One of their officers found this sweet boy they believe was abandoned, but none of the local shelters were able to take him, so we were asked if we could take him. Unfortunately, we were informed by our neighbors at our apartments that he barked the entire two hours we were at church. We just tried a bark collar on him, but it didn't stop his barking and he was so freaked out by the collar that he broke out of the baby gate he was behind. Sadly, this means that we're unable to keep him. He really needs to be in a house where he's less likely to disturb neighbors while his people are away. If anyone is interested in giving him a good home, please DM me. We've named him Bosco, and as I said he's such a sweet boy! He's been perfect around my 6-year old, loves to chase his ball at the dog park, and seemed to do well around other dogs. He will need to be neutered.

Story
Maggie Mae "Mae Flower" is a loving, affectionate dog with plenty of playful energy in her mature body. She’s kennel trained, friendly, and loves snuggles, and she thrives with consistent care and attention. She would do best in a home with a yard and preferably without small children. She can be nervous around men at first but warms up quickly. Maggie might prefer being an only pet, which could also help with occasional marking behavior. However, she gets along great with other dogs and cats! I recently broke my leg and had a major reconstructive surgery and have not been able to give Maggie as much attention as she deserves, and may not be able to for some time. Due to my limitations, I’m looking for a caring, patient home where she can get the walks, space, and love she deserves. She’ll come with her favorite toys, kennel, and food to make the transition easier. If you can provide a calm, supportive environment, Maggie will be a loyal and loving companion for years to come!

Story
Clemintine and Nova are a bonded pair of medium size, spayed, mixed-breed ladies. They are sisters approximately 7 years old and often still like to play like puppies. They are outdoor dogs, but have always been in a fenced yard or large pen. They are active but not aggressive, and love attention. Clemintine has the unique feature of one blue eye and one dark eye. We have had these dogs since they were born, but since my husband's death, I have moved and do not have a fenced area for them. They cannot be turned out to run and play because of large, aggressive dogs in the neighborhood which are allowed to run loose all day. I walk them at least twice a day on leashes, but they are a bit rowdy for my 82 years. They deserve to spend the last half of their lives in a fenced area where they can sleep, romp or play to their hearts content.

Story
He is chill and likes water mostly after a bath, rubbing against a towel, but can escape from a chain. He would thrive as an only dog (i think). Rocky might have a dislike of men, not sure. Is a fan of toys, likes rolling around, and is cuddly.
