I rescued Lou when she was just four months old, and for almost ten years she has been such a special part of our family. She is incredibly smart, energetic, loving, and happiest soaking up the sunshine or cuddling with her favorite people.Lou thrived when it was just my husband and me. As our family has grown, we’ve realized she deserves a quieter home without young children. She has never bitten a child but is uncomfortable around little ones. She can be reactive toward other dogs, although she has enjoyed playing with my mom’s dog. She also resource guards food and toys.Lou has so much love to give and so much potential. We truly believe that with an experienced, patient owner, a consistent routine, and positive training, she could make wonderful progress and flourish. We love her more than words can express, and while this decision is heartbreaking, our greatest hope is to find the home where Lou can feel safe, understood, and live her happiest life.

Hershey was the smallest girl of her litter of 6 siblings. All of her siblings have found loving homes but unfortunately Hersheys owner unexpectedly passed away. Right now she is living with family and her Mom Annabelle. The couple she currently lives with is unable to care for two dogs especially one being a 6 month old puppy. She loves playing and wrestling with her mom and cuddling with humans. She loves romping in the yard and chasing bugs trying to fly away. Hershey would love a wonderful home to grow up in.

This is my father’s dog. He adopted her after his second wife passed. Unfortunately my father’s health has declined to the point that it’s very hard for him to keep up with her. He doesn’t have a fenced yard so she can’t just go out and run around. He has to take her out every time and this is too much for him. She needs to be the only dog in the house or go to someone with time to help her adjust. She’s very friendly with people. Never seen her with a cat. She doesn’t react to squirrels so a cat could be okay. She needs a yard to play in and to just be loved by a caring family

Hello, meet Nia! She is 2.5 years old and a mixed breed. She loves queit and calm spaces and would love a big backyard to run around in. We adopted Nia 2 years ago and unfortunately, we are unable to keep her. We have another dog and they get a long just fine but she does prefer to be the only animal as she can be quite jealous. Like most dogs, she is afraid of thunderstorms and fireworks but if she takes her anxiety meds, she will be just fine. Nia needs to be in a home with no young children. They make her nervous and she doesn't like when they're loud or run around. She truly is the sweetest girl and we wish we had the right environment for her to thrive. Meet Nero 🖤 This is extremely hard for us, but due to a sudden move, we unfortunately have to find Nero a new home. He cannot come with us, and we don’t have any family who can take him. We’ve had Nero for 3 years after adopting him from Adopt-a-Pet. He is 3 years old, with a September birthday. Nero is all black, including his tongue! We believe he is a Pit/Boxer mix, but we were never given his exact breed. He is loving, loyal, protective, and wonderful with children of all ages. He can be anxious and cautious around new people and may take some time to warm up, but once he trusts you, he is an amazing and devoted dog. His shots are not currently up to date, and he is not neutered. We are asking a small $80–$100 rehoming fee. We are looking for a loving, responsible home where Nero will be safe and treated like family. This is not an easy decision, and we truly want the best for him. 🖤
