Story
Nola was rescued from going to a shelter. She was dropped off to me covered in fleas, with worms, an eye infection, an UTI and very dirty. She has since been treated for all of the above, is now also up to date on her shots and has been spayed. I was told prior to agreeing to taker her in that she was good with cats and children but that has turned out to not been the case unfortunately. She is a sweet dog but would be better suited for a house with no other pets or children so I am hoping to find a good fit for her. She would do well in the right forever home.

First - the adoption fee will be sent to the Michigan Humane Society to help with all the animals they rescue. I have had this sweet, kiss giving girl for several months now. I got her thru a friend of a friend when her one and only owner passed and the owner's family could not keep the dog. They thought she was about 8 or 9 years old. She was raised with an invisible fencing system. I do not have one. I do not have a fenced in yard. I take her on walks during the day. I am a Senior citizen and I am not steady on my feet and I have poor balance. She has pulled me down once and I am afraid of it happening again. She is so sweet and loves to sit next to you and cuddle. She does not realize her strength. She would do great with a house full of kids or a Senior with a fenced yard. She should be in a cat free household. She loves to play fetch and actually brings the ball back & gives it to you! Please help me find a good home for this sweet girl

Meet Mango, You will fall in love! Sweet Mango is about 40# and around 9 months old, slightly on the taller side. He is currently at the shelter learning to be brave and getting there every day. He is there with his sister Melon. They both are looking for a wonderful foster or adopter. They do not need to be adopted or fostered together, this is just the current situation he is in and we love the puppy playtime in the meantime. Mango is a bit on the shyer, quiet side which may change once he gets more confident. We already see him coming out of his shell. He can be the only dog or would be happy to have a dog brother or sister that can show him the ropes, with slow and proper introductions. He loves to play and would be a great boy for future adventures. If sweet Mango looks to be your match, please fill out an app for him. *Cats and Kids are unknown.
