Story
Nora is a very sweet girl from the shelter. She needs a home with a family that could provide her with sufficient exercise, play, and attention. She would do well in a home with other dogs to keep her company. Nora is crate trained, but she becomes noisy when left alone in her crate. She also whines to demand play. She loves all people, and she loves meeting and playing with other dogs, but she will whine, bark, and pull the leash from excitement if she sees a dog. She does very well getting her nails trimmed and ears cleaned, and may do well with children, considering she doesn't react to grabbing/pulling. She's had some successful at-home impulse and obedience training, but she loves to jump on people. We are rehoming her because of the arrival of our baby. We live in a single bed apartment and are unable to give her the space, training, and enrichment she deserves.

Story
Sola is a 7 to 9 year old spayed female. After having her for a wonderful 5.5 years, we need to find her a new home. She does have allergies, which we manage with a daily pill and diet.Sola is a gentle, easy-going 40lb dog who likes a couple of walks a day and then lazing around the house on one of her beds. She is crate-trained and looks forward to her crate when we leave her and when we go to bed at night. She enjoys being around her people, naps in the sun, and chasing bunnies in her fenced in yard. She is selective of other dogs on walks and at the dog park. She enjoys hiking, car rides, and daily walks. When we walk her, we always have a treat bag with us (just more of her dry food kibble) to encourage and reward good behavior. Sola knows basic commands and is food motivated. If you're looking for a sweet companion as your one and only, Sola may be the dog for you. Our biggest wish is to find her a loving home where she will be happy.

Story
Bronco is a 7-year-old mixed-breed dog. He is mostly a pit/hound mix. Hs very loyal and protective, and listens very well. He needs space to run around outside but does not need a fence. I’m having to give him away because he has become protective over our new baby and does not appreciate my husband going near the baby. He is very good with the baby, but should not go to a home with a child because he will become too protective. Otherwise, he’s just about the best dog. He will most likely take a few weeks to settle into his new home and may go on a hunger strike for a few days but will eventually be fine. He will have separation anxiety from his person, but he never eats shoes/furniture/etc…just sits and mopes for a while (and like I said, goes on hunger strikes if you’re away for a few days). I get a lot of compliments on how good-looking he is. Most people also recognize he’s well-tempered and obedient. He will take some time to get used to men but will warm up to women quickly.

Story
9yo Pitt mix. Good with dogs and children (including small children). Sweet and loving. Not into playing with toys. Likes walks in the woods and human attention. Can be scared of loud, unexpected noises. Super chill and only full of energy when she wants attention. Overall a good dog, we just don’t have the time or resources to care for her.

Story
Lucky is a very sweet dog who loves attention and cuddling. I rescued Lucky 4 yrs ago. He was abandoned and found roaming on a farm with no information, dog tag, or chip. He needs to be someone that is home during the day and able to spend quality time with him. Lucky is crate trained but needs more help with a leash. I would love to rehome him with someone that have a fenced in back yard to allow him to run out and play daily.
