Story
Hi, my name is Daisy! A month ago I was found emaciated and picking through trash. With persistence (and alot of turkey slices) my foster mom was able to rescue me and have me seen by a vet! Other than being super skinny and recently having puppies that have long since been weaned, I was given a clean bill of health. We believe I was bred then dumped. My foster mom wanted to keep me, but as much as she doesn't want to let me go I do NOT like cats so I can't stay because there's 2 of them here! Outrageous! I am super sweet and cuddly, unless you're a vet with pokey stuff or a cat. I have not been tested around other dogs. I need someone with a decent experience with handling to give me the best life possible. We are working on training every day until we find the perfect home for me. Somewhere I can gain weight and work all my extra energy out. I'm very smart and already learning new tricks. I'm currently too weak to do a lot of commands but I'm getting stronger everyday!

Wonderful companion but he does require room to roam or long walks. Hate to give him up but I work fulltime and my retired husband had a stroke.

Story
I adopted Lilly as an 8 month old puppy. She has been a great dog. She is fully house trained.. she does not like to be caged or in small spaces. Found that out very early. She broke a tooth trying to get out of her cage. She has a very chill personality... she loves to lounge in the sun and loves her walks. She does shed quite a bit which can be a little annoying but she makes up for it with her kisses. I want her to have a better home than I can give her right now... life has changed in 8 years.. married, new home and we have 2 children under 2 and a senior dog that is needing extra care... I feel like she is being left out or ignored and as much as I do love this dog she deserves better.

Story
Harper found us at the local park with my sign of an owner, we have had her for over 6 months working on basic commands and learning her name. We believe she is ready for her forever home. She isn’t fixed and doesn’t have a chip. Needs a yard with a fence and medium or large dogs to play with. Good with kids and cats. Know sit, lay and stay. 34lbs. Genetic testing done and showed a true mutt mix. Pit, Shepard, terroir, etc.

Story
Cooper is a very excitable year and a half year old mix. He was adopted from SICSA. He LOVES to chew, if its a fabric toy then its toast. He is a very active dog, a home with a yard would be optimal for him as he loves to run around. He can plat fetch mostly but doesn't understand the part when he brings it back to you just yet. He knows how to sit and stay but thats as far as we've gotten training wise. He does have some crate aggression but is entirely crate trained and will "go to bed" at command. He lives with myself, my husband, our two daughters and a cat. The cat was slowly introduced and they have never had any issues. He has zero food aggression and isn't food motivated at all, those he does love peanut butter. I think he could be a great pet for a different family, unfortunately he has taken to being very afraid of me and we can no longer cohabitate. I genuinely want him to go to a good home but my both of our living environments are suffering at the moment.

Story
Hamilton (or Hammy) came to us through SICSA as a small puppy. We've had him for about two years now and we've had a great time with helping him grow. He's very high energy and loves to run and play constantly. Hamilton would be happy with someone that can give him lots of attention and play. He could do really well with running along with someone too. We've had really good luck with him at the dog park, he doesn't seem to want to be aggressive, more just wants to chase. He's very snuggly with people he prefers.
