Story
I had a baby in February at 23 weeks pregnant. Ever since then, my daughter has been in the NICU at Cincinnati Children's Hospital. I live in Sabina, OH and have been staying at the Ronald McDonald House in downtown Cincinnati since I love so far away. My niece has been staying at my house while I am away to care for my dogs for me, however, she is no longer able to take care of them. I fear I have no other choice than to find another home for my fur babies as I do not have the money to board them until my daughter gets out of the hospital on the next few months. Teensy is very shy, but a huge cuddle bug when she warms up to people. She loves her stuffies and belly rubs. She was raised with her sister Neecie and I would very much like to keep them together if possible. Teensy is scared of just about everything and her sister brings her comfort. Neecie is a pitbull mix that was rescued in 2014. She loves blankets and snuggles!

Story
Jazzy is a 5 year old pit/boxer/Australian/German shepherd. Although she has a lot of high energy blood in her, her favorite place to be is curled up next to you on the couch under her favorite blanket. Jazzy is looking for a home with no other animals or small children. Her owners would love to see jazzy thrive the way she deserves. Jazzy is completely house broken and will let you know when she has to go. She does not counter surf. She loves walks and is great on the leash. She is crate trained and knows so many tricks and loves to learn. Jazzy grew up in a college town and loved it there, getting to see all of her adult human friends hanging out. She would do well in a home with no yard as long as she is taken out on a leash. She does enjoy soaking up the sun though so a yard with some sticks and a nice lounge spot would be great! Let us know today if you would love the opportunity to meet this beautiful girl!

Story
Petey loves pets and cuddles. He enjoys a good toy to chew on and chasing animals outside. Doesn't mind to go on a walk but can't go for long. He will cuddle, play with a toy, or sleep. If he has another dog companion he will try to play. Petey's ideal home is with another dog to play with but mainly with people who are able to give him attention and cuddle. When being disciplined he can cower and let out a small tinkle but he is house broken.

Story
Molly is a sweet dog but very stubborn. She has not been able to be house broken. I hired a trainer and spend months trying. I have a cancer diagnosis and it has been very hard to get Molly trained not to pee on carpets. She also has a high pitch bark. I live in a condo and had complaints that she can be heard. She needs a very patient person to spend a weeks or maybe a month with intense training to get her housebroken. She had a sad back story and I had hoped she would be with me forever. I flew to Texas to get her and her ‘brother’ who are a bonded pair found wandering the streets. Molly is very scared of noise and not yet confident. She has become more confident in the past few months. I really have tried crate training and consistent potty routine and she has a dog door to go out any time. If the rehome is in the Tri State area then her trainer is paid for and will continue to work with her for transition. If the travel is within his area.

Story
Blue is a loving, excitable, and generally chill dog who still has plenty of energy for the things he loves being outside, going on walks, and playing with soft toys. He enjoys a daily walk (two on a lucky day!) and is highly food‑motivated. Blue is very people‑oriented and likes to stay close to his humans, following you around the house or yard. He is fully house‑trained, can handle a full workday without issues, knows basic commands, and walks well on a leash. He would thrive in a home with adults or older dog‑savvy kids. Blue has some separation anxiety managed with daily fluoxetine and can show food and resource guarding, so he is not a good fit for small children. He typically does well with other dogs if fed separately. Blue is neutered, up‑to‑date on vaccines, and microchipped. With the right environment, he has so much love to give!

Story
Meet Jack! A 6 year old terrier mutt who loves the outdoors. His favorite things include chasing after critters and birds, old men, treats, butt scratchies and playing with his owner. He is dog and cat particular; he has been around both but needs some warm up time. Jack is intelligent, which makes him stubborn. He has poor recall, so be weary of going out without a leash. Jack does very well in large fenced in back yards and will guard the perimeter with joy! Speaking of guarding, he makes for a great alarm system when he hears anyone approaching from outside the home.

Story
Louie is a loyal, loving companion who has been with our family since puppyhood. We're re-homing him due to having a small child, as Louie does best in a calm, adults-only environment. He loves being near his people — following you room to room and curling up in your lap — but he's not a high-touch dog. He has fear-based anxiety and can bite when overwhelmed, though he typically warns with a growl first. He responds much better to verbal cues than physical handling. Years of training, including work with a fear-aggression specialist, have made him well-behaved and responsive to commands. He's been on a low daily dose of fluoxetine for four years, which has noticeably helped his confidence, and the prescription is very affordable. Louie is in great shape, walking 2–3 miles daily, and would be perfect for an active home. With a patient owner who appreciates his quirks, Louie has so much love to give.
