Story
Found him on the side of the road 3 months ago tired, weak and severely emaciated. He has stayed at our farm, following me around, helping with chores getting stronger and healthier every day. He is good with the barn cats, around the horses, four wheelers, regular every day farm stuff. He comes when called and has never offered to run off. I do keep him penned up when we're not home. He jumps right in the car to go for rides, and walks on a leash decent. He's a charming guy that loves to talk! Since picking him up, we have had no luck finding any possible previous owners. I have 3 other dogs (who are not friendly) we keep him separated from and for that reason cannot be his for ever home. I haven't brought him in the house to test his house manners, as my other dogs are inside. We have bathed him, cut the mats from his fur, trimmed his nails, and dewormed him but I still think he would benefit from a check up with a vet as he is still extremely skinny, despite eating 3 cups daily.

Story
Lucy came to us from the humane society after spending time with a foster family. We fell in love with her immediately. At the time, she was about 17 pounds and much calmer, but she has grown into an energetic 6-month-old puppy. Lucy is sweet, affectionate, playful, and full of personality. She loves making us laugh and enjoys being around people. Like many puppies, she is still learning manners and impulse control. When excited, she may mouth or play-bite, but she has never broken skin or shown aggression. We have young children and a 15-year-old, 7-pound senior dog. Lucy’s size and energy can be overwhelming for both, and she sometimes accidentally knocks our older dog over while trying to play. We believe Lucy would thrive in a home that can provide continued training, exercise, and structure. She would likely do best with older children or adults who can help her continue learning and growing.

Story
Max is a little over a year old he was born December of 2024. He is a good dog overall he just chews a lot because we are unable to be home a lot and give him the attention he needs. He is fantastic with our children and our older dog. He has never bit anyone. I was told he was a bernedoodle but I don’t believe that to be true now. So I am not sure the breed he is. We just can’t give him all the love he needs as a young dog and think it’s time for him to have a better family.

Story
We are looking for a loving home for this sweet girl. My sister adopted her from a shelter in Columbus and it wasn't a good fit, so we offered to take her. We've had her for about 6 months now and we just aren't the right paced family for her needs. With both my husband and I working and 3 kids involved in things, we can't give her the time that she needs. She is the most LOVING and SWEET girl ever. She's only a little over one and she just needs a family that is home more than away. She would do really well in home with a family/owner that has the time and attention to continue training her and working with her. She is high-energy (we think she's part border collie) and loves to run! If you have a big, fenced in yard or are a runner and want to take her with you, she would love that. I've taken her running before and she does amazing. She could run for miles! Personality-wise, she is kind, loving, fun, and a total snuggle-bug. She loves playing with our kids and is just a doll.

Story
Hi everyone! My name is Prada, and I’m about 4 months old. I weigh around 20 pounds and have the cutest big, fluffy paws! My foster family isn’t sure what breed I am, but one thing they do know is that I’m full of love and personality. 💕 A little about me: • I’m 90% potty trained (I only have accidents if I don’t get outside in time). • I’m crate trained and know simple commands like sit, stay, and treat. • I love to play, take naps, and be around people. • I get along great with other playful dogs. • I’m very vocal, but I don’t bark much—I just like to tell you what I need! I’m looking for a family that has time to play with me, maybe some kids, and a big backyard to run around in. My foster family loves me very much, but their older dog doesn’t enjoy having a puppy around, so I sometimes have to spend extra time in my crate. They know that’s not the life I deserve, so they’re helping me find a family that deserves me ! 🤍✨

Story
Hi, my name is Shadow. I am a happy, fun loving male dog. I have been with my family since they found me 11 years ago at only a few weeks old tied to a phone pole. Although, I am seasoned, I still love to play and bask in the sun. Unfortunately, it has become difficult for my family to spend time with me. Since all the kids have left the nest but one and now nobody is home because of their work schedules or school schedule. My family would love to find someone who would appreciate that I know a few tricks like... sit, sit pretty, lay down, and roll over. Someone who wants to go on walks with me and would treat me like part of their family. Maybe someone who works from home and can spend time with me.
