Belle: We rescued her from a local family who found her abandoned. She is incredibly sweet and loving. She want all the cuddles and will always want to be by your side. She is still learning how to go potty outside, but she is almost there. She is a puppy and is teething. Age- 6 months(ish) Potty Trained: Almost! Good with kids?: absolutely, she loves playing with kids. Good with dogs?: yes, she has been very good with our older dog and has made friends with the neighbor's dogs. Good with people?: yes, she loves meeting new people. Good on leash?: yes, but I do not often take her on walks because we have a yard, but from the few times she has been on the leash she stayed by my side. Vaccines: up-to-date Neutered: She has an appointment in November (this was the soonest I could get with the Human Society)

Story
Mocha was born around Christmas 2022. She has been with us since March 2023. She has been spayed and trained at a local training program. She is extremely smart, loving and listens well. She learns quickly, highly motivated to do well. She was taught not to bark and she listens to it most of the time. We did use a vibrating/chirping collar. She has a sensitive stomach like many pits, so she is on a special diet. She seems to have some seasonal allergies where she licks her paws and chews them so she has a medicated shampoo she bathes with twice a month. It’s really not causing any serious trouble for her otherwise. She gets heartworm tested and is enrolled in an auto ship program for heartworm and flea medicine. She is fully vaccinated and up to date on rabies. She is an inside dog but she loves being outside, cuddle, walk and play.

Story
Max needs a new home within the next 2 weeks!! He is soooo very sweet and makes a great family pet. It breaks my heart but we need to find a new home for our dog Max. He is a neutered hound/pit mix. Not sure exactly what he is but he is amazing. He is high energy and super loving. My elderly mother in law is moving in with us and he is too excited all the time for her. He is about 6 years old. He is great with other dogs, not great with chickens. He was fine when we had a cat but it’s been a couple years since he’s been around one. He can sometimes be a little leery on men but warms up quickly once he meets them. He’s not the best on walks and prefers to have a fenced in yard to run. Located in Irmo.

Story
Rich is a big, dopey, gentle boy yearning for a family. He may look intimidating, but he could not be more softhearted. He is house-trained and can use a doggy door, and he is comfortable in a crate when traveling or otherwise. Richie loves other dogs and is extremely playful and a bit clumsy. He is great on walks and requires little supervision. He rarely barks, so you know something is going on if you hear his sweet whisper-barks. Rich came to me from a neighbor who wasn't able to meet his needs, and though he is slightly better off with me, if I'm being honest, he isn't receiving the life he is worthy of. (I have an older male that is making integration very difficult for us.) Today I was walking Rich, and he stopped to watch a family of kids playing with their puppy. As he stared at them with longing in his big brown eyes, my heart broke for him. He truly deserves a life like that. https://www.youtube.com/@IfIWereARichManSC
