Hank and several others found themselves on their own when the owners abandoned them without food, water, or shelter. He is currently undergoing slow-kill heartworm treatment. He is neutered and fully vetted. Hank has lots of energy and needs a safe fenced yard where he can run it off! The shelter is a STRESSFUL place and causes a lot of over stimulation in dogs. Hank can be selective with his playmates. Applicants will be required to have a meet and greet with family members and other dogs.

He was loved and well cared for until his owner’s health failed and he could no longer care for him. This sweet boy came into the shelter just in time for Thanksgiving dinner! He is neutered, up-to-date on vaccines and wormer. He tested heart worm positive and is currently undergoing slow-kill treatment. He is asymptomatic and doing great. He is a little intimidated by the loud shelter, but is adjusting. He will make a great family dog.

He has been to numerous adoption events and is PERFECT in every way. He greets everyone with a wagging tail and loves all the attention and pets. He plays well with other dogs and responds positively to other dogs at these events. He is a great car rider and walks on leash. He is up to date on vetting; he is heartworm negative; he is neutered – this boy is the total package!

Ace is an absolute cuddle bug and loves nothing more than being close to his people. He has a huge heart and is the kind of dog someone will absolutely fall in love with. He is extremely friendly and gets along well with most other dogs. He enjoys their company and has a very sweet, loving personality. We’re still unsure about how he is with young children, as he hasn’t had much experience with them. With the few kids he has met, he was more or less uninterested—which is actually a pretty good sign! He is potty trained and does well with his crate. Because of his past, he does have a little separation anxiety if he is crated for too long, so he does best with patience, reassurance, and not being left alone for extended periods. And then there are his adorable quirks: he doesn’t really run—he hops! It’s one of those little things that makes him even more lovable. He also has a very particular routine when it comes to potty time: when he poops, he usually likes to go twice, in two different spots. 😂 Overall, he is a sweet, affectionate, friendly, big-hearted boy who just wants to love and be loved. He has so much love to give, and I truly believe his forever person is going to be incredibly lucky to have him.
