Story
This is Diesel. About 6 months ago, he ran in front of our car on way home from work. Our son brought him home and we took him to the shelter for a hold to see if he would be claimed. He was not claimed and our kids talked us into keeping him. Being that he is our first stray rescue, we were not thinking about if he was ok on a farm. He is NOT ok on a farm. We have chickens, goats, ducks, geese, barn cats and a livestock guardian puppy. He will attack all of them if he gets out. We do not have a fenced yard just for him. We have lost 1 out of 3 chickens due to injuries she sustained from Diesel. On the flip side, he has come a long way since our son found him. He was estimated to be around a year old back in October. He has gained 20-25 lbs of much needed weight. He's very loyal. He's curious. He loves to cuddle. Loves chewing on bones and ice for treats. He gets along with our 6 year old female lab. He would be great for someone with a yard and maybe no other animals.

Foxy is 12 years old. She is shy at first but once she feels comfortable she is sweet, playful, and loves attention. We would love for her to have a new home where she is able to play freely both inside and outside. A home where someone is able to play with her everyday and show her the attention that she needs.

Previous owner severely neglected this poor dude. He will not stop eating or drinking at all. He has bloated several times due to this. Super high energy all the time. (still very young) He is an amazing dog that needs attention, love, and training. He listens very well. He is easily distracted, thought. He knows sit, both paws, lay down and sometimes stay! He does okay on walks as long as you use his pinch collar. If you have the time and/or land he is all yours! A one bedroom apartment is not fit for a puppy. He loves playing with other dogs. I think he would play all day if the other dog was this way. (seriously. so. much. energy.)

We adopted Hank a few months after our beloved dog of 14 years crossed the rainbow bridge. We have had him for 8 months. We love him very much. Due to a mix of temporary and permanent health and housing changes, we desperately need to rehome him. He is a good boy. Loves to play with other dogs and is good with kids.
