Story
Rex was rescued from an abusive starvation situation so he tends to hoard food but he will be neutered on the 9th and that should help with his aggression towards other male dogs. He has lived with us for several weeks and has only had a couple of incidents with food but our dogs are too old for any aggression unfortunately. He’s incredibly sweet with cats and kids, he just needs to be in a one dog home or at the very least with someone who has experience acclimating and working through his issues.

Story
Mazie is a young energetic dog! She has beautiful brindle coat. She loves fetch, going for walks, laying around, and working hard for treats. She sits on command and sits and waits for her food when told. Constantly making us laugh and acting goofy! Great with other dogs and kids. Very quiet and doesn’t bark other than loud yawns and sighs. She is house and crate trained (comes with medium sized crate), up-to-date on shots, and spayed. She’s a great playmate to other dogs. Still a bit of a puppy when it comes to behavior. We are located in Spring Hill, TN (Williamson County) She’s a pit Mix I adopted Mazie 2 months ago but I’ve run into some very serious medical issues, that have caused me to be hospitalized, and unable to care for her permanently. Im so disappointed that this is the situation as I planned to be her forever home, but life doesn’t always line up as we hope.  She has zero bite history, she is spayed, and doesn’t need any extra vet care.

Story
Jojo was acquired by me six months ago from the Metro Nashville Shelter Foster program. He is now 21 months old. He was found on the street as a puppy (5 months). He is very affectionate, but he is also high energy and reactive, especially around other dogs. He currently weighs around 42-43 lbs.and stands about 30 inches high. He has learned the commands of sit, stay and down, but he cannot hold them for very long. He is crate-trained. He is not hostile with other dogs, but just gets so excited around them, leaping and pouncing in a playful way. I am over 65 years and have some difficulty controlling him on leash, especially if he sees or smells another dog. He could really use a rural environment/farm with lots of space to run.

Story
Cocoa is supper sweet and full of love. We got her during Covid at age 1. She is now 5. She is house trained and can ring a bell to go out. She still has a lot of puppy energy. Our household has changed due to divorce and she doesn’t get out much and she deserves that. We are gone for over 10 hours everyday and when I get home I have no time to for her before going to bed. I can tell this has been hard for her cause she is having accidents in the house when left so long. She sleeps with my daughter and loves to snuggle. She can obey a few commands and do a few tricks. She enjoys the dog park when I can take her. I have only witnessed dog aggression around the water bowl. Odd. But she has never been people aggressive.free to good home. Kennel and food included

My daughter just had a baby and she is having a hard time taking care of baby and Claire. Claire is a very sweet dog but she has extreme anxiety and would probably do well with a woman over a man. She needs someone who can devote some time to her. Claire loves my daughter so very much and wants to give her hugs all the time.
