Story
This is George. He is a loving, cuddly and sweet 5 year old, 50lb collie mix. I adopted him from the shelter 4 years ago. He has been a great companion and joy! Unfortunately due to an unknown traumatic past before the shelter, he has some quirks that make it difficult to live in a home with men and children. Due to this I am looking to find George a new loving home that will give him the life he deserves. He is great with routine! He is very nervous and hesitant with new situations and people. However, he quickly adapts once he knows he is safe. When he is comfortable he is the most loving and sweet boy you could ever ask for. He is a quick learner and picks up on commands after a couple practices. He loves a comfy bed with lots of blankets, butt scratches, tummy rubs, new squeaky toys, peanut butter and Nylabones! He loves to play in the yard and chase after tennis balls, squirrels and birds. He would love a home with a steady routine, cuddles and not too many new people around.

Meet Oscar. 60lbs, almost 1 years old, fixed, chipped, super smart, and great with other dogs. Nashville area, TN.He is a very sweet boy but needs a new home preferably alone, with another larger dog or a younger family. He loves carrots, his chew-chews, and looking out the window.He is a mixed breed pup with some blue healer, great Pyrenees, and hound as best our vet could figure out.We got Oscar from a shelter. He was found wandering a road and brought to the nearby shelter.We were looking for an up to 30lb dog bit unfortunately the information from the shelter about Oscars age was not correct. So we ended up with a much larger dog than we can handle.We have a very small older rescue dog and cat. My wife and I are older and his energy is more than we or our two other pets can handle. Even though its all loving play, our two other pets are older and its causing stress to them both.We did not feel comfortable returning Oscar to the shelter. Thank you.

He's a 30 lb terrier/lab mix, fully potty-trained, and a total couch potato who just wants to relax next to his people. We're wanting to start a family, and Cooper is no longer comfortable around kids, so we want to find him a home that suits him better and will not bring him stress. We are located in Columbia, TN in the arts district. Cooper needs: ✔️ No children and no other pets or animals ✔️ A calm, cozy, adults or 13+ household Please know: He's fearful of and aggressive toward other dogs and animals He's not neutered and not fully up to date on vaccines He has dental problems that will need attention We are requesting a rehoming fee of $50 because we want Cooper to go to someone who is serious about taking care of him, especially since he is an older dog. She was named after the Barry Manilow song Copacabana because when she wags her tail it looks like a showgirl’s feathered tail. It’s one of her most endearing little qualities. Lola is quiet, gentle and is a good companion.she enjoys the simple things in life. She enjoys walks and treats and sleep curled up in a little ball and spending time in a calm comfortable home. She walks nicely on a leash although she takes a slower pace these days. She gets along well with other pets and is accustomed to cats, but she also appreciates having a quiet place of her own where she can relax and enjoy some solitude. She likes to be close to humans and prefers to be in the same room snoozing close by. Lola’s beloved owner is 91 years old and fell.

Athena’s story started with a big act of courage for such a small pup. She was found curled up under a car at just a few weeks old, trying to stay warm. Since that day, she has been my loyal, sweet, and incredibly brave companion, growing up alongside me through my young adulthood. She is a curious soul who loves exploring her world and is wonderfully motivated by treats, making training sessions both fun and rewarding. While her early years during the pandemic meant she hasn’t been around children, she is a deeply affectionate dog once she gets to know you. She can get a little jumpy and excited when meeting new people, but given a moment to settle, her warm and loving nature shines right through.

Biscuits is an amazing dog! She is fine with her own space and will lie down out of the way if you are doing anything, but her favorite thing in the world is a good belly rub. She is fine with a foot rub or a hand rub and would stay for hours getting her stomach rubbed if you let her. She is also content being rubbed anywhere else as long as you want to. She is pretty low-energy for a 3-year-old, unless prompted, but will walk with you and respond well to being called. She is our Walmart rescue and has been a great piece to our family. Unfortunately, due to new work schedules, she is not getting the life she deserves and would be blessed to receive the love and attention she deserves more often.
