Story
Cora is an eight year old girl with a lot of energy and love to give. She has a very strong worker dog drive in her that means she would do best in an environment where she can be very active and get lots of direct attention. She does well with other dogs once she has gotten to know them and she is great with people and children, though she can be quite talkative on first introduction. She does have quite a high prey drive, meaning other animals are not the best companions with her. While she has never caught anything, she loves to chase and ward off squirrels, cats, and rabbits. Cora is a dog who very frequently needs something to do, but also loves to cuddle at the end of the day when she’s ready to settle in. She will do best with a family that can be very active with her and know how to keep her busy.

Story
IN DFW AREA: CAN MEET WITHIN REASONABLE DISTANCE Is there anyone that can take this female dog. She is ~ 5 yrs old. No health issues. We always thought she was a Shepherd Husky mix, but my daughter seeems to think she's more in the lines of an Australian Kelpie. Due to housefire & limited amount of dogs allowed at the rental property, we arent able to keep her. She's smart, follows commands. Was a stray when we found her. She was maybe a few yrs old. Unsure. Active playful. Preferably would need to be placed with someone who has a back yard. Loves to run & play. Was not good with our indoor cat, or small dogs. Please help place her. Very submissive, so not sure if she was mistreated before we got her.

Size
(when grown) Med. 26-60 lbs (12-27 kg)
Details
Not good with kids, Good with dogs, Good with cats, House-trained, Spayed or Neutered, Shots are up-to-date,
Story
Dottie was rescued from Dallas Animal Shelter at 10 months old, and we do not have any knowledge of the earlier days of her life. She was a bit shy at first when meeting our family, but when she got comfortable, she really opened up. I think she would do great in a home that has other dogs, or even a home with an owner who is home often and enjoys playing/going for walks. Because of her being shy when meeting new people, I would not recommend a home with young children/toddlers. Children who are old enough to understand social cues is preferred. She loves toys and enjoys walks (even if she stops to sniff a lot)!

Story
Macy is a sweet girl! She is full of energy even though she is 9 years old. She loves to play fetch with a ball or stick. She loves going for walks. She know commands like sit, stay, down, high five, and speak. We are unable to keep her because our child is allergic to her. It saddens us to rehome her but I’m hoping she’ll go to a good loving home.

Good with kids, Good with dogs, House-trained, Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Ivy is a loving, energetic dog; can also be called a Velcro-dog. She’s s friendly and love people and other dogs. She gets very excited when she sees people or other animals. She does get an attitude when you don’t do what she wants in her time frame and she may go pee in an area she knows will puts you off. She really is a good dog and rarely barks. I want to re-home her to a good home and family who will love and treat her right. I got her from Dallas Animal Shelter when she was 11 weeks old. Her birthday is December 11, 2024. She’s being living with my son and I in an apartment but she really enjoys the outdoors. I don’t have the energy or patience anymore and don’t really have help with her care.
