Story

Sammee is the most handsome dog you'll ever meet. He's so sweet and loving to his people! When meeting new people, he is timid. He doesn't like to meet them on a leash (we think he had some past traumas). When we have him meet people in our home, we usually put Sammee in his kennel, let everyone come in and get settled, and then bring him out. He does great that way! He will be your best friend, try and sit in your lap, and get all the attention! We groom him ourselves so we don't know how he does at a groomers. When we leave the house, he is used to being out with doggie door access. He is good in the crate for a couple hours at a time, but not a full day. Just beware of any food left out he will get into it! We are hoping we can find someone looking for a loving, cuddly, teddy bear to love him how he deserves!

Story

Abandoned 2 in front of our house when pups, they are 2 years old, and we took them in. The are sweet, easily trained and lovable and are wonderful with our grandkids from age 6 up. They do have energy and need a yard. They eat whatever is put down for them, and are trained to to sit before receiving their treats and sit on command. They get along with the cats and love our little dog. Because of our age and health we are being forced to downsize to a tiny home and/or assisted living and will not be able to take them with us. They need to be kept together if possible and like to know where each other is at. They have been well behaved for us and are both spayed and current on shots and heartworm medicine. We treat them for heartworms and fleas/ticks monthly. We have a designated sleeping area for them at night and they remain quietly and happily till we let them out each morning. They weigh between 70-80 lbs each. in the picture Laverne is right Shirley left.
