Meet Noel — a sweet, loving girl with the gentlest soul. She can be timid at first, but once comfortable, she becomes the best snuggle buddy. We believe she was primarily an outdoor dog before we got her because she was initially afraid of being inside, including stairs, TVs and even pictures on the walls. Now she loves cozy naps on the furniture and being close to her people.Noel LOVES being outside, enjoys toys, and is a great car rider! She’ll chase a toy but hasn’t figured out bringing it back yet. 😊 She has also done well around chickens while supervised.She does have separation anxiety and would do best with someone home often or with a tall, secure fenced yard. She can jump our current fence (4 foot, so not super high up) and roam, which is why we are sadly rehoming her.We want Noel to have the safe, loving home she deserves. 🐾💕

Phoebe is 10 years old but you wouldn’t know it. She is very active and loves to run. She does have some skin allergies. She is a master at cuddling. She does very well with people, she is quite social, always asking for pets. She does *not* do well with other small animals like cats, lizards, etc. We have had her for her entire life but we are longer able to keep up with her as our lives have changed. We are looking for someone that is able to allow her to run more freely.

Though he struggles with some human and pet interactions, he forms deep bonds with the right people. Bolt thrives in a calm, consistent environment where he can feel safe. Special Considerations Experienced owner required: Given Bolt's bite history with cyclists several years ago and a small dog a couple years ago, he requires a confident, experienced adopter who can provide structure. Secure environment: A fenced yard is needed to give him a safe space to play and relax. Other dogs: He can get along with other dogs if they have the right personality and fit and meet slowly, like a large submissive dog. You could be the one to give him a second chance.

I’m spirited, mischievous, and bursting with energy. I’ve got a knack for finding creative ways to entertain myself, which sometimes means chewing up blankets, beds, or occasionally a cable cord. I’m still working on my potty training and guard my food. I’ll need a patient person who can help me learn better manners. I’m hyper, playful, and dramatic in the funniest ways—you’ll never wonder what I’m thinking because I’ll let you know. Here’s the thing: beneath all the chaos, I’m sweet. I love other dogs, I am good with kids, I enjoy snuggles when I’ve burned off my energy, and I’ve got a scrappy little face that makes people smile even when I’ve just caused a little trouble. I respond well to correction, and with consistency, I’ll thrive. My antics might keep you on your toes, but they’ll also keep you laughing. I’m neutered, vaccinated, heartworm negative, and currently hanging out in Hampton, VA (though I can be transported out of state for the right home). Meet Sam, a resilient and deeply affectionate 4-year-old tripod dog. After spending his first 200 days in a shelter, Sam has spent the last year becoming a master of "nose-bops" and gentle nudges to show his love. He is a smart, potty-trained boy who knows his commands and boasts excellent recall on our property. While Sam is fantastic with chickens, ducks, and rabbits, he is a natural "alpha" and needs a home where he is either the only dog or paired with a submissive companion. Sam is great with kids of all ages! We are making the heartbreaking decision to rehome him only to ensure the peace and safety of our senior dog. Sammy is a loyal, special soul ready for his next great adventure.
