Story
Meet Goose! I adopted him from the Richmond SPCA. He’s around 4 years old and he’s very very sweet with people. He is reactive with dogs and cats so he would do best in a home with no other pets, in a quiet neighborhood, and he definitely needs a fenced in backyard to run around in. I really believe the reactivity can subside with training, I’m just in a very dog populated area which would make that extra challenging. He’s already house and crate trained. He’s got lots of energy and loves to play fetch, tug of war, and chew on bones. I wish I could give him what he needs but I live in an apartment complex with other dogs and he’s become very stressed out with all the commotion. I know he can be a great dog with a quiet, loving environment where all the attention is on him! No adoption fee, I want what’s best for Goose only.

Size
(when grown) Large 61-100 lbs (28-45 kg)
Details
Not good with kids, Not good with dogs, Not good with cats, Needs experienced adopter, House-trained, Spayed or Neutered, Shots are up-to-date,
Story
Bolt is a loving and loyal companion looking for a patient and understanding forever home. This special dog deserves a chance at happiness with someone who understands their needs and can provide a stable, structured environment. Personality Once he meets you he'll just want to follow you around and crawl into your lap and snuggle. Though he struggles with some human and pet interactions, he forms deep bonds with the right people. Bolt thrives in a calm, consistent environment where he can feel safe. Special Considerations Experienced owner required: Given Bolt's bite history with cyclists several years ago and a small dog a couple years ago, he requires a confident, experienced adopter who can provide structure. Secure environment: A fenced yard is needed to give him a safe space to play and relax. Other dogs: He can get along with other dogs if they have the right personality and fit and meet slowly, like a large submissive dog. You could be the one to give him a second chance.

Story
Dudleigh is a silly, goofy, snuggly, love bug. We have had her for over 5 years, but she unfortunately she no longer gets along with our senior dog and we cannot accommodate both of them any longer. She is crate, muzzle, and e-collar trained. I have also done extensive obedience and reactivity training with her at a training facility with experienced dog trainers. She loves to cuddle, play with balls, chew on bones, go for walks, and sleep. She needs to be in a single dog home due to her reactivity. If you have any questions, want more information or photos/videos, please feel free to reach out. I love Duddy with my whole heart and it breaks my heart to have to rehome her, but I know she needs a better home to live in where she can be herself and not have to worry about reactivity. up to date on all of her shots, ~55 pound golden retriever/pitty mix, comes with everything you’ll need to take care of her for the next several months including food, crate, leash, muzzle, toys, etc.
