Not good with kids, Not good with dogs, Not good with cats, Needs experienced adopter, House-trained, Spayed or Neutered, Shots are up-to-date,
Story
Bolt is a loving and loyal companion looking for a patient and understanding forever home. This special dog deserves a chance at happiness with someone who understands their needs and can provide a stable, structured environment. Personality Once he meets you he'll just want to follow you around and crawl into your lap and snuggle. Though he struggles with some human and pet interactions, he forms deep bonds with the right people. Bolt thrives in a calm, consistent environment where he can feel safe. Special Considerations Experienced owner required: Given Bolt's bite history with cyclists several years ago and a small dog a couple years ago, he requires a confident, experienced adopter who can provide structure. Secure environment: A fenced yard is needed to give him a safe space to play and relax. Other dogs: He can get along with other dogs if they have the right personality and fit and meet slowly, like a large submissive dog. You could be the one to give him a second chance.

Story
Dudleigh is a silly, goofy, snuggly, love bug. We have had her for over 5 years, but she unfortunately she no longer gets along with our senior dog and we cannot accommodate both of them any longer. She is crate, muzzle, and e-collar trained. I have also done extensive obedience and reactivity training with her at a training facility with experienced dog trainers. She loves to cuddle, play with balls, chew on bones, go for walks, and sleep. She needs to be in a single dog home due to her reactivity. If you have any questions, want more information or photos/videos, please feel free to reach out. I love Duddy with my whole heart and it breaks my heart to have to rehome her, but I know she needs a better home to live in where she can be herself and not have to worry about reactivity. up to date on all of her shots, ~55 pound golden retriever/pitty mix, comes with everything you’ll need to take care of her for the next several months including food, crate, leash, muzzle, toys, etc.

Story
💛 Sweet senior dog needs a new home 💛 This is Mattie, an approximately 8‑year‑old, 50‑lb lab/beagle mix who suddenly needs a new place to land. Her owner has been dealing with serious health issues for a long time and recently suffered a major fall that caused multiple fractures. She’s now in long‑term care and won’t be able to care for Mattie again. Mattie is a gentle, low‑energy girl who just wants companionship and a calm home. She has a current rabies vaccine and no known internal health issues. She’s house‑trained, but she does need someone to go outside with her—she won’t go on her own. She also doesn’t like being alone for long periods and does best when someone is around. She deserves a soft, loving place to spend her senior years. We’re hoping to rehome her as soon as possible with someone who can give her stability, patience, and affection. If you or someone you know might be a good fit for Mattie, please reach out!

Story
Daisy is a sweet puppy we rescued about a month ago after she was found abandoned in the middle of a heavily trafficked road. We couldn’t leave her there, so we took her in, brought her to the vet, started her vaccines, and treated her for worms. She is now healthy and doing great. The vet estimated she was about 10 weeks old when we found her, so she is currently around 3–4 months old. She weighs about 15 lbs and will likely be a small to medium mixed breed when fully grown. Daisy is very smart, loving, and playful. She does well with other dogs, is potty trained, and walks well on a leash. She can be a little timid at first, but once she feels comfortable she becomes very affectionate. We travel frequently for work and already have two dogs plus another rescue, so unfortunately we cannot keep another dog long-term. Daisy will be available after April 1 when we arrive in Virginia, and we hope to find her a loving home.
