Story
Apollo is a 7-year-old Newfoundland mix weighing in at a big, lovable 101 pounds. This gentle giant has a calm, friendly nature and is the kind of dog who enjoys being close to his people. He walks well on a leash and is house trained, making him a wonderful companion for a home looking for a steady, easygoing presence. Apollo is bonded to his best friend, Vega (AP26-127), and they should remain together if at all possible. These two love to spend their days playing together and going on walks side by side, showing just how special their connection is. A meet and greet at the shelter will be required to ensure it’s a good fit for any existing pets in the home. If you’re ready to open your heart and home to a sweet, devoted pair, Apollo and Vega are sure to bring twice the love, companionship, and joy into your life. ------ Before being rescued, many of our dogs had limited socialization, so they may need some time to adjust to life as a family pet. Older kids are often a great fit for our dogs, and homes with younger children will be considered based on each dog’s individual needs. Skills like house training and leash walking may take a little extra patience and practice. However, with understanding and a gentle hand, most of these dogs adapt quite quickly. Being a part of their rehabilitation is a truly rewarding experience. To learn more about mill dogs and start the adoption process, visit our website!

Story
Some puppies get a rough start. Zia's started in a Ziploc bag. This gorgeous 9-week-old German Shepherd/Great Pyrenees mix (with a sprinkle of Lab, Collie, and Poodle according to her brother's DNA test!) was found as a newborn alongside her siblings, discarded and left behind. Thankfully, that became the beginning of a very different story. Raised by bottle feeders, a surrogate mama, and an entire village of humans and canine mentors, Zia has grown into a confident, affectionate, hilarious little puppy who believes life is meant to be explored... preferably while carrying a stolen toy. Zia loves people, adores other dogs, and is always ready for the next adventure. She's smart, very food motivated, already comes when called, and is beginning to learn basic commands. When she's not wrestling with her siblings or conquering new experiences, you'll find her climbing into laps for cuddles, soliciting belly rubs, or plotting her next grand theft squeaky toy operation. Like all puppies, Zia is still working on potty training and puppy manners, but she's an eager learner with a big heart and an even bigger personality. If you're looking for a resilient, playful, snuggly best friend who will grow up to be an extraordinary companion, Zia just might be your girl. ➡️➡️➡️ ➡️➡️➡️ GO TO: www.pawsitiverestorations.com to learn more about our adoptable dogs, watch videos, and apply to adopt.

Story
Meet Zac! ❤️ Zac is a 9-week-old male German Shepherd/Great Pyrenees mix puppy (with a little Labrador, Collie, and Poodle mixed in for good measure!) who survived an unimaginable start to life as one of our beloved #ZiplocBabies. This sweet, gentle, incredibly affectionate little boy is the only brother among five sisters, and he's mastered the art of being both cuddly and playful. Zac can be a bit shy in new situations, but warms up quickly and soon becomes the life of the puppy party. He loves people, other dogs, puzzle toys, belly rubs, and climbing directly into your lap for snuggles. Zac is highly food motivated, already comes when called, is learning "sit," and would thrive in a family where he can be included in all of life's adventures. Story
Meet Zadie, one of our incredible "Ziploc Babies" who survived an unimaginable start after being found as a newborn puppy stuffed inside a Ziploc bag and abandoned. Thankfully, that heartbreaking beginning became the start of a beautiful story, because Zadie was bottle-raised with love, enrichment, and plenty of canine mentors to help her grow into the amazing puppy she is today. Zadie is a sweet, snuggly, playful little girl who absolutely adores her people. She loves other dogs, enjoys exploring, wrestling, puzzle toys, tunnels, and ball pits, and is always ready to climb into your lap for cuddles. She's smart, very food motivated, already comes when called, and has started learning basic commands. Her foster family describes her as resilient, affectionate, and delightfully opinionated. She'll happily announce that dinner is late and then promptly curl up in your lap for a nap. Zadie is currently working on potty training and puppy manners and would thrive in a home where she can be an active part of the family. She'd love adopters who enjoy adventures, training, snuggles, and all the joyful chaos that comes with raising an extraordinary puppy. If you're looking for a loyal best friend with soulful eyes, a big heart, and just enough sass to keep life interesting, Zadie may be your perfect match. 🖤🐾 ➡️➡️➡️ ➡️➡️➡️ GO TO: www.pawsitiverestorations.com to learn more about our adoptable dogs, watch videos, and apply to adopt.
