Story
Hi there, my name is Blue! I am a handsome young man with a heart of gold. I had a tough start to life and didn't receive much socialization. I was really shut down when I arrived at the shelter. However, the trainer, staff, and volunteers have been working with me and say I am getting exponentially better. I am in search of a patient family that understands it is going to take time and work for me to get acclimated to a home environment. I would love to find a family that is committed to continuing my socialization and helping me to build confidence. I come to life in the presence of other dogs so I am looking for a home with a canine companion. I am going to need exercise, training, socialization, and affection. In return, I promise to bring you years of love, laughter, and loyalty. My adoption fee includes my neuter, a microchip, vaccines, and a fourteen day limited health guarantee through Redstone Animal Hospital! Come and visit me today! Primary Color: Blue Merle Secondary Color: Tan Points Weight: 31.5 Age: 0yrs 7mths 3wks

Story
Hi there, my name is Shilah! I am a gorgeous tender hearted girl. I had a bit of a rough start in life, but things are looking up. I wasn't provided much socialization prior to arriving at the shelter. The trainer, staff, and volunteers have been working with me and I am now learning that people are really cool. My level of socialization has improved exponentially, but I am looking for a patient adopter that understands it is going to take time and patience for me to acclimate to a new home. I am looking for a home with a confident canine companion as I feel much more at ease in the presence of dogs. I am going to need exercise, training, socialization, and affection. In return, I promise to bring you years of love, laughter, and loyalty. Story
This is the bestest girl right here.  At just 2 years old, this 70-lb Great Pyrenees mix is the total package — sweet, loyal, and gentle with that classic Pyr heart… but with a bonus: she actually listens, is treat-motivated, and truly cares about what you think (yes, really ). Sophie came into a Texas shelter as a stray and was never claimed, but she hasn’t let that dim her light. She’s spayed, microchipped, up-to-date on shots, kennel trained, housebroken (as far as we can tell), and walks beautifully on a leash now. She’s wonderful with large and small dogs, cats, kids 10+, and adults. She’d be happy as your one and only — but would also love a buddy to snuggle and play with. She sleeps wherever she chooses at night like the queen she is, and while she’s still deciding how she feels about dog doors, she’s perfectly content in her kennel when you’re away for short periods if time. If you’re looking for a loyal shadow, a gentle protector, and a soft, snuggly best friend who just wants to be yours… this sweet girl is waiting.  If you are interested in meeting Sophie, the first step is to complete our meet and greet application at https://www.corgisandfriends.com/forms We require the application, home and reference check, and meet with everyone in the home. Her adoption fee is $375 and we do not adopt outside of Colorado.March 6, 2026, 12:11 am

Story
Meet Joey! Joey is the absolute sweetest, most affectionate dog who is always down for lots of cuddles. He’s snuggly and friendly with everyone he’s ever met and will never say no to pets! He sits, shakes, lays down, and waits like a true gentleman. He’s fully housetrained! Joey does great on leash and is a great buddy for walks, short-moderate hikes, and short runs. When he gets home, he loves to plop himself on the ground and be a couch potato! Joey is a dream in the car and hasn’t shown any signs of destructive behavior or separation anxiety. He can have some jumpiness around big dogs barking at him behind fences, but redirects easily. Joey is looking for a forever home where he can spread his love and affection endlessly. ##2657261##

Story
Meet gentle Chance. The first part of his life was a bit rough, and he’s spent the past month remembering what being a dog is all about. He’s the definition of a soft soul—shy at first, but once he feels safe, he’s all about the cuddles. He adores his foster brother (a golden retriever), follows his lead, and learns confidence from having a canine friend around. He’s incredibly curious about the world and gets a little braver every single day. When he’s not chasing his brother around, you’ll find him sprawled on the couch with his toys, fully convinced he’s a lap dog. Chance is sweet, loving, and affectionate, fully house-trained, dog-friendly and a huge couch snuggler and toy lover. He’s incredibly shy, and looking for a patient, loving home that will let him continue blossoming at his own pace—and promise him plenty of couch time. Chance is looking for someone with a backyard to get comofrtable in, another dog to show him the ropes and someone who will give him the time he needs to learn he is safe!  ##2642593##
