Story
We have had our sweet Tutter since she was an 8 week old puppy. She is a very outgoing and playful dog who needs attention and stimulation. When we got her we selected her breed for their calm, couch potato demeanor but Tutter is nothing like that. She wants to run and romp and unfortunately we do not have the time or space to meet her needs. Her current home has another senior dog, two cats, and a toddler all of whom she gets along with without issue. We truly love and and just want to see her in a home where she can thrive.

Story
Moose is looking for a local large breed dog lover near Philadelphia and surrounding areas. He would love to be your one and only so he gets all of your attention but he does do well with dog friends if introduced slowly and properly. Cats? Maybe one and slow intros? He would need time to adjust . He does well with his other foster friends. He would be good with all humans and older kids willing to be basic training for manners. He is a 3 year old male Newfoundland pup! Pa Kennel License 07735

✨Meet Brownie!✨ Brownie is a Newfoundland who came into us as a surrender from a commercial breeding facility (aka Puppy Mill) in Lancaster County. We are confident he will make a wonderful family member for a very lucky family, who understands his past and gives him the time he needs to trust them and his new surroundings. Brownie loves other animals, and will thrive in a home with at least one other dog. Adopting a puppy mill survivor is life-changing—for you and them. For these dogs, everything is new and often overwhelming: people, houses, stairs, leashes, food bowls, collars, toys, TVs, ovens, doorways, pavement…the list goes on. They need adopters who can move slowly, be patient, keep expectations reasonable, and provide the understanding and tools they need to grow into happy, confident companions. Patience, positive reinforcement, and understanding are key! We promise there is nothing that compares to gaining the love and trust of a puppy mill survivor, but it requires intentional effort and commitment from their new family. With the right guidance, puppy mill survivors can blossom into well-socialized, joyful dog- so our goal is always to ensure every adopter is fully prepared to give them the life and environment they need to truly thrive! If you are interested in being considered for them please apply on our website at www.angelsretreat.org 💕🐾 Angel’s Retreat www.angelsretreat.org West Chester, PA PA Kennel License 17335

Story
Harold is a neutered 5 year old half Newfoundland and half Bernese Mountain Dog mix. He is amazingly friendly and loves all people (including children). He is great with other dogs and has been fine around small animals in cages. He has never been around cats, and he has chased after loose chickens in a yard. Harold is house broken and knows (and follows) all basic commands and he loves car rides. He is up to date on all vaccinations and just had his annual vet checkup last month. Our whole family loves Harold very, very much, but he would do better in a house that can give him more physical activity and attention than he is currently getting since I am getting older and even taking him for walks has become quite difficult. I recently had a knee replacement and cannot give Harold the exercise that he deserves.
