Story
Hi, I'm Clyde! You’ve heard of Bonnie and Clyde, but let me introduce myself as the Clyde you actually want to bring home! Forget the famous outlaw duo, I’m here to steal something much better, your heart! My name is Clyde, and I’m a 3 year old, 94 lb. Great Pyrenees with a big fluffy coat, an even bigger heart, and a personality that’s worth getting to know. When we first meet, I might seem a little unsure of you. I’m not trying to be mysterious like my name suggests, I just need a little time to make sure you’re my kind of person. Once I feel comfortable, you’ll see the sweet, affectionate guy hiding underneath all that fluff. I’m a people-loving pup who enjoys being around my humans. If you’re looking for a loyal adventure buddy, I might just be your guy. I love exploring, going on adventures, and being included in whatever my family is doing. Whether we’re out discovering new places or just relaxing at home, I’m happiest when I’m with my people. I also enjoy having dog friends! I do great with other dogs, but I’m not looking for a wild party crew. I prefer calmer, respectful dogs who understand that sometimes a good hangout session is better than an all-day wrestling match. Now, before you get too impressed by my charming personality, I should probably confess a few things. I may be a Great Pyrenees, but I apparently missed the memo that fences are supposed to be the end of the adventure. I’m pretty talented at climbing and jumping fences over 6 feet tall, so my future home will need secure fencing to keep me safe. I also have some history with chickens, and let’s just say they were not exactly on my friendship list. Because of my past, I’ll need a home that understands my guardian instincts and can keep me away from poultry. We don’t know my history with cats yet. I would do best with kids over the age of 6 who understand that even though I love affection, I may need some space while I’m getting comfortable. The fastest way to my heart is patience, kindness, and letting me come to you when I’m ready. So if you’re looking for a big fluffy guy who is equal parts adventure buddy, cuddle enthusiast, and professional fence inspector, I might just be your Clyde. Bonnie may have her own story, but I’m ready to write mine with my forever family! My adoption fee is $295 and I'm neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. Apply to meet me today!

Story
Hi, I'm Bonnie! You’ve heard of Bonnie and Clyde, but let me introduce myself as Bonnie, the sweet, fluffy girl who is ready to leave my adventures behind and find my forever home! I’m a 3-year-old, 75 lb. Great Pyrenees girl who may be a little shy when we first meet, but don’t let that fool you. I just like to take my time getting to know new people and making sure everything feels safe. Once I realize you’re my friend, I warm up and my sweet personality starts to shine. Unlike the famous Bonnie and Clyde, my goal isn’t to be on the run. I’m looking for a life filled with cozy days, fun adventures, and a family who understands that the best relationships are built with patience and trust. I love exploring the world around me, especially when there are plenty of new smells to investigate. My nose likes to gather all the important details, so expect our walks to include lots of sniff breaks. I have experience living with alpacas and enjoy having animal friends around. I do have a history of chasing poultry, so my future family should understand my guardian instincts and make sure I have appropriate boundaries around smaller animals. We don’t know my history with cats yet. When it comes to other dogs, I can be a bit dog selective, so finding the right canine companion is important for me. I’ll need slow, thoughtful introductions to any resident dogs and time to get comfortable at my own pace. A calm, respectful dog who gives me space may be a good match, but not every dog is going to be my cup of tea—and that’s okay! I’m looking for a family who will give me the time and space I need while I adjust to my new home. Kids over the age of 6 would be the best fit for me since I would appreciate children who understand how to respect my space while I build confidence. My ideal home will also have secure fencing that is over 6 feet tall. I may look like a big fluffy teddy bear, but I’m also a clever Great Pyrenees who has figured out that climbing and jumping can be part of an adventure! If you’re looking for a sweet, gentle girl who may start off a little shy but has so much love to give once she trusts you, I think we could have the perfect happily ever after. Forget the famous Bonnie and Clyde story—I’m ready to write my own chapter with my forever family! My adoption fee is $295, and I'm spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped. Apply to meet me today!

Story
Lightning! ❤️ Meet Lightning, an incredibly sweet and affectionate Bernese Mountain Dog/Standard Poodle mix who is ready to find his forever family! At about 35 lbs., Lightning is a social, adventurous boy who is full of personality and enthusiasm for life. He loves his people, enjoys being part of the action, and is happiest when he’s included in whatever his family is doing. Lightning has done very well meeting a variety of dogs at the sanctuary. He loves to play, communicates appropriately with other dogs, responds well to boundaries and corrections, and is easy to redirect. He can be an enthusiastic playmate, so canine friends who appreciate his energy and playful style would be a great fit. And if your family loves the outdoors, Lightning is ready to join the fun! He absolutely LOVES the water and would make a wonderful companion for hikes, outdoor adventures, and days spent exploring. He knows some basic cues, listens well, and is very people-oriented, making him eager to engage with his handlers. Lightning came to us with his brother, Mater, and after spending about a month getting to know them, we’ve seen that both boys are confident, social, and comfortable independently. While they enjoy each other, they aren’t reliant on one another and we believe Lightning will thrive having a family of his very own. We think Lightning could do wonderfully with children 8 and over and would thrive with an active family committed to giving him plenty of exercise, enrichment, affection, and opportunities to be included in everyday life. Due to his high energy and play style, we recommend a household with no cats. If you’ve been dreaming of a loving, goofy, water-loving adventure buddy who is ready to become part of your family, Lightning may be your perfect match! ❤️ Lightning's adoption fee is $295 and he is neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. Apply to meet Lightning today!
