Meet Bean, an adorable 5 month old Papillon mix. Full of tail wagging happiness, Bean is a sweet, cuddle loving pup who warms up quickly and is ready for your adoring attention. Bean gets a little triggered by other dogs and young children so she will do best in a home where she will be the only dog and, where any children under the roof are older. Looking to Adopt? We are located at the Janss Marketplace in Thousand Oaks, CA. Please keep in mind: - Adoptions can move quickly, so be ready for our call. - Only apply for dogs everyone in your home wants. - Wait to apply until after your vacation. - Due to high demand, not all applicants will be contacted. Story
Shrimp is a very lucky dog. A wonderful volunteer from Bobbies Street Cats witnessed her being tossed from a car in the middle of the night. She jumped in her car and scooped her up and got her to our Vet at Sherman Oaks Vet Group.They got her stable and assessed the damage. Dislocated hips and a lot of pain. Hope for Paws offered to cover her surgery at Cares. Rescue is a group effort. Everyone jumped in to help Shrimp. She has made a remarkable recovery in her wonderful foster home (where she fell in love with their cat) and is doing great. In spite of the level of cruelty that brought her to us, Shrimp remains loving and kind. She gets along great with all people and dogs and as we said, loves cats. Not a clue what her mix is...we're guessing lovebug mixed with kitty lover.
