Story
Shrimp is a very lucky dog. A wonderful volunteer from Bobbies Street Cats witnessed her being tossed from a car in the middle of the night. She jumped in her car and scooped her up and got her to our Vet at Sherman Oaks Vet Group. They got her stable and assessed the damage. Dislocated hips and a lot of pain. Hope for Paws offered to cover her surgery at Cares. Rescue is a group effort. Everyone jumped in to help Shrimp. She has made a remarkable recovery in her wonderful foster home (where she fell in love with their cat) and is doing great. In spite of the level of cruelty that brought her to us, Shrimp remains loving and kind. She gets along great with all people and dogs and as we said, loves cats. Not a clue what her mix is...we're guessing lovebug mixed with kitty lover.

Story
Lovely Little Lady....Meet Our Lilac! This pretty girl is an approx 3 year old, 12lb, Papillon/Chihuahua mix. She was dumped and abandoned on the street of LA by her owner who never came back for her. Neighbors reported that she waited on the same street in the same spot for over a week. Thankfully, a kind person got her to safety and reached out to us for help. We gladly took her in, had her scanned for a microchip (there wasnt one), and put her on a proper stray hold, but nobody ever stepped up to claim her. We then officially brought her into our foundation and named her Lilac. We would love to see her in a home with another playful pup and a safe and secure yard to run around in. Owners that are not gone long hours during the day would be ideal. Lilac has such a sweet and good natured personality and demeanor. She is always the one at our adoption events that is just perfection with everyone she meets...adults, kids, and dogs! She is not 100% potty trained, so a home with a yard and a home with a patient owner would be exactly what she needs. Lilac's owner abandoned, dumped, and let her down, yet she still has such a love for life and we promised her that we will find her the best forever home out there! Lilac is spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped. We only adopt in the Greater LA areas as an in person meet/greet, home check, and trial are required. Story
Pepper has been part of our family for about 9 years. We adopted her from the Lange Foundation in Santa Monica. She was very timid/shy when we got her and she became very attached to Anna (her person). I would often bring her to the office with me pre-covid and she would hang out under my desk. She is territorial though, and would often bark at people who approached my desk. It was tolerable and we attempted some dog training classes but didn’t follow through with the behavioral training as much as we should’ve. She is pretty solitary and has the personality of a cat. When Anna is away from home, she spends a lot of time under our bed or in her bed. When Anna is home, she’s energized. We now have a 1 year old toddler who doesn’t understand personal space or boundaries, and Pepper will growl at him when he crosses her boundary. She has never bitten anyone, but she has strong “get away from me” energy when anyone but her person enters her space. She is fiercely loyal to her person.

Story
Shirley is a sweet, gentle Papillon/Spaniel mix who is about 3 years and weighs 16 pounds.  She's beautiful outside as well as inside.  She is very gentle with a docile personality  Her owner gave her up because they had no time for her.   Shirley is friendly with other dogs and has been around them.  I'm sure she would be good with kids based on her submissive demeanor.  She has a pretty coat that doesn't shed.  She bonds quickly and she's good on a leash and not reactive to peopleor dogs that pass.  Shirley has all her shots, is chipped and spayed.  If you're interested, please fill out the application on our website bichonsandbuddies.com.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.July 8, 2026, 12:16 am

✅Currently located in South Korea✅️ 💟Available to fly to LAX💟 The prices listed are based on USD, and the adoption fee will be calculated in CAD according to the exchange rate. Meet Moongji🖤🤍 💙 Name: Moongji 💙 Gender: Male 💙 Age: Estimated 6 years old (Born in August 2019) 💙 Weight: 10.8 kg / 23.8 lb 💙 Adogs Updates Account: @_adogs_ 1. Health Condition * Neutered. * Microchipped, and heartworm negative upon retest. 2. Rescue Story * Moonji was living in a yard in Gimje. Unfortunately, as his elderly owners’ health declined, the dogs were left without proper care for a long time. Adogs gave the owners some time to say goodbye to their beloved dogs before safely rescuing Moonji along with five other dogs. 3. Basic Information * With People: Is a little shy around strangers at first, but quickly warms up if offered treats. When male volunteers visited the Center, he approached first, asking for pets. If young children are holding treats, he may try to take them from them, so caution is needed. * With Dogs: Is not very interested in other dogs and prefers spending time alone. Prefers quiet and nonchalant friends. * Separation Anxiety: Unknown, as he currently lives in a group setting at our center. * Potty Training: Potties inside his kennel and also marks on poles. Will need basic training in a home environment. * Walks: When he feels uncomfortable, he might get stubborn and stop walking, but most of the time, he follows his handler well. * Car Sickness: Travels well in the car without motion sickness during short car rides. * Biting: Has a strong appetite so he growls and bares his teeth a little if you pet him when he’s eating. May get mouthy if you forcefully try to hold him. Doesn’t show aggression otherwise. * Barking: Sometimes barks when he’s impatient for food or treats. Only gets loud when food is involved. * Likes: Loves treats! Even when shy, treats help him open up and respond well to training. Likes to rest in the sunlight. * Dislikes: Becomes cautious and uncomfortable with loud noises or when held forcefully. Is uncomfortable when strangers approach him. * Personality: Has low energy levels, so is generally quiet and well-behaved. Has an independent streak and is a true "gentle dog" who knows how to enjoy his own downtime.
