Story
Meet Lady and Rose! They are 4 year old what-we-believe-to-be sisters that weigh 10lbs and 13lbs respectively. They are adorable Papillon/Cavalier King Charles Spaniel mixes that are simply adorable in every way, shape, and form! These girls are a bonded pair that wish to find their furever home together. Lady and Rose are medium energy pups that just want some fun daily walkies, they do love to play together and have moments of zoomies and rough housing! Afterwards they are happy to chill. Watching them form a cozy cuddle puddle together is just heartwarming. Oh, and Lady does the cutest balance on her hind legs begging for food/attention! We would love to find them a home where they can be the queens of the castle together. They definitely deserve it. Lady and Rose would love a quiet home and would also entertain a home with gentle children 12 years and older. For more information, please contact Jenn at jenn.w@poainc.org AND submit an application at www.poainc.org .

Story
Meet Bonnie! Bonnie is a small spayed female papillon mix (~7 yrs old and 15 lbs). Bonnie is very sweet!  Their foster said, "Bonnie is loving and sweet! She love car rides and walks, are fully up-to-date on vaccines and spayed. She had dentals every year before being surrendered to us. Bonnie is housebroken and crate trained however she does cry at first when they go in the crate. She does well with cats, kids and other dogs but she prefers dogs her size. Bonnie seems to be a little frightened by bigger dogs." Bonnie is medically up to date and spayed. Apply to meet this special pup today! Click HERE for Adoption Application: pawsrescueleague.org/adopt Adoption fees vary based on the dog and are not negotiable. As a small rescue that does not receive government funding or grants, we rely on adoption fees to stay afloat. Adoption fees help cover the following: vaccinations, wellness exams, heartworm/4DX testing, parasite prevention, spay/neuter (age-appropriate), microchipping, transport expenses, and other rescue-related overhead/administrative costs. Paws Rescue League, Inc is an all-inclusive rescue that does NOT only rescue puppies and young, healthy dogs.  We make a point to also rescue seniors, dogs with special needs, moms, and other “less desirable” dogs, knowing that we will likely incur higher veterinary expenses and that these dogs may take longer to get adopted.  As such, an individual adoption fee is not only reimbursing PRL for expenses directly related to that dog, but it is also helping us to continue our mission of taking in dogs that would otherwise be too much of a financial burden to save. We believe that ALL dogs deserve a second chance. Thank you for your support and understanding! ##2775594##

Story
Grace was surrendered to a shelter with her housemate Rocky. Both were scheduled to be euthanized within the week due to fear/anxiety/stress within the shelter. Pulled by this rescue on their scheduled D-Day, Grace had pneumonia and obvious ongoing malnutrition. Once out of the shelter environment she began to open up to her foster Mom. Pneumonia was treated, she was able to get spayed, and now she is a zig zag wiggleworm of excitement! She is silly, fun, playful, happy, fetches, wrestles, and gives kisses! You have to earn her trust before she comes to you, but that is a fair ask! Currently working on potty training and getting more weight on her and leash training. Goal will be about 25#. She will excel in a home with a fenced yard, daily exercise (she has plenty of energy now!) and people who understand her wariness of anything/anyone. She is an absolute doll that will melt your heart. She takes treats from yiur hands like a sneaky raccoon… slowly and carefully, then runs off to eat them! Story
Hello! I was given Bear when he was just a puppy in 2021. He was born April 1st. He’s a nice boy, honestly he does get territorial and aggressive only when he is scared or provoked. I am looking for someone who has worked with dogs (in regards of house training and aggression training). He has never been around other dogs due to the fact that he was attacked by pit bulls and since then he is weary around other dogs. I do have a cat in which he tolerates, when he was a puppy he was also attacked by another outside cat. Disregarding the troubles he has gone through, I know with the right care he’ll be the best boy on the planet and I am truly just looking for a better home that I sadly could not give him. His last shots were in 2022 and he has not been microchipped or neutered because I cannot afford too. He loves to run around and he loves belly rubs once comfortable. I’m not looking for any fee and I don’t want to give him up to a shelter. I can wait however long until he’s safe!
