Story
Spike is in search for his forever home! WHAT MY FOSTER SAYS ABOUT ME: Spike, AKA His Royal Spiciness, is our special little man! He's got pzazz and spunk even though he's a senior boy. He desperately wants your affection but will sometimes reward that affection with a nip on the hand because he's decided, in his Chihuahua energy, that he doesn't want to be touched anymore. Don't worry though - he has 3.5 teeth so you don't really feel it. He loves to cuddle, but again - don't let him sleep next to you because if you DARE to MOVE he will be shooketh at the thought that a human would even think to disturb him and will snap. How else will he earn his title of 'His Royal Spiciness'? All this to say... he has a loyal fanbase of fosters who love his personality and ease of leaving him alone so the spiciness grows on you. If you're looking for a dog that will add spice to your life, Spike is your man. Spike recently underwent surgery to remove a mass on his head, and while it was entirely removed with narrow margins, it is possible due to the nature of the tumor it may have spread elsewhere in his body. However clinically, Spike is thriving. He is energetic and spry, eats well, and still very much enjoys his life. Check out Spike's video at: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QYsD1bKn42Y ATTRIBUTES: Spike does well in foster with other dogs that respect his personal boundaries and gives him space. Spike should not go to a home with cats or kids. -------------- Laila's Legacy Animal Rescue does not guarantee that any dog is housebroken nor crate trained. Story
There you have it! I was living alone in the pound and being a smart and sensitive Jack Russel boy and I was totally shut down.... I didn't want to trust anyone and the loud pound, filled with scared animals who are desperate to get out alive......... and I was one of them. So I was SO SO SO LUCKY, one of the rescue ladies happened to stop by to see ME!! She heard about my predicament being so scared and untrusting.... and she decided to give ME a chance!! NOW I am living the good "foster" life ;) I have lots of friends to hang with and other than the cats I am LOVING my "foster" life :) I am ready for my very own family, I am smart and sweet and may take a day or so to settle in but it will happen and then after that.... you will fall hard for my sweet and CUDDLY personality. ADOPT ME SOON!! I am ready for you! Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $450 (includes transport to your area)

Meet Josie Ann, the little lady with big energy and an even bigger heart! This sweet 2-year-old Jack Russell Terrier mix is ready to jump right into your life—and your lap! Mostly white with adorable tan markings on her face, she’s as cute as she is full of spunk and love. This friendly, outgoing girl greets everyone with tail wags and enthusiasm to spare. On walks, she’s easy to manage and loves to sniff and explore, always keeping an eye out for interesting critters like squirrels and birds. She’s excited to meet every dog and person along the way, and she never turns down a good play session with her favorite toys. Josie Ann takes treats gently and will “sit” with a bit of coaxing using a tasty treat. After an adventure, she loves nothing more than curling up in your lap for some cuddle time. Found as a stray in southwestern Virginia, Josie Ann is ready for her next chapter—one filled with love, laughter, and plenty of outdoor fun. If you're looking for a lively new adventure buddy, then Josie Ann is your girl!
