To learn more about Hardy, please get in touch with dogs@lostdogrescue.org. Hardy will be at one of our adoption events this weekend! Visit our event page (https://www.lostdogrescue.org/events/) to see which one—event listings are usually updated on Fridays with attending dogs. Meet Hardy, a sweet pup with a big personality, a wag-worthy stub tail, and a heart full of curiosity! Found as a stray, Hardy has made it very clear he’s more than ready to be someone’s best friend. This friendly, social boy brings joyful energy wherever he goes. Hardy may be compact, but he’s sturdy and energetic, with a build very similar to a Jack Russell. He loves toys, playtime, and especially treats. A true smart cookie, he enjoys puzzle toys that let him sniff, think, and put his problem-solving skills to work. He’s doing well with both potty and crate training, and like most puppies, Hardy is still learning his manners. He has some typical puppy mouthiness during play, but with continued training and plenty of exercise, mental stimulation, and positive guidance, this boy is going to shine. Hardy would thrive in an active home ready to help him grow into the amazing dog he’s meant to be. If you’re looking for a playful, affectionate, and smart pup who’s equal parts fun and cuddles, Hardy just might be your guy!

Story
Hi, my name is Sandy.  Some call me Super Sandy because I am such a great girl.  Others call me Sheriff Sandy, as I have made it my job to patrol the yard when I hear a noise.  We have a nice fenced-in yard with lots of room to run and a doggie door in the back door.  That makes it very easy for me to do my self-appointed job.     Only a few weeks ago, I was a homeless girl abandoned in a neighborhood behind a veterinary clinic.  This nice lady took me to the vet.  They agreed to help me and let me stay there.  After my photo session for my online post, the staff called Critter Cavalry.  Now I am the lucky one enjoying life in a wonderful foster home.  It is amazing how quickly things can change. When I am not on patrol, I enjoy time with my foster brothers and sisters.  We have lots of room to play outside and room inside to relax.  I am fitting right in.  Not long after I arrived, my foster mom came home with a little scruffy boy who was also abandoned.  We shared our stories and became fast friends.  He has been adopted.  Now it is my turn.   I would love an active family that spends time outdoors.  It would also be great if they had children and another dog for me to play with.  Since I do like to patrol, a fenced-in yard is a must.  I also tend to bark when I hear noises.  Because of that, apartment life is definitely not for me.  I ride well in the car and walk ok on a leash.  I could use a refresher course in that.  I am very smart and catch on quickly.   To learn more about me and to request an application, please contact Vivienne at vivienneajames@gmail.com.  I am currently in Tennessee and can be transported north upon adoption.  APPROVED APPLICATION AND ADOPTION FEE REQUIRED.  January 13, 2026, 6:14 pm

If you are interested in adopting this dog, please fill out an Adoption Questionnaire athttps://petstablished.com/adoption_form/43315/generic.You can learn about the adoption process by visiting: http://www.k-9lifesavers.org/howtoadopt/.Dog's Name:   Moses  (MOS0925OWSMN)Estimated Breed:   Jack Russell Terrier / Rat Terrier MixApproximate Age:  6 yearsApproximate Weight:   23 lbsCurrently Living at:   BoardingAdoption Fee:   $400DOG'S DESCRIPTION:   Hello!  I'm Moses and I will part the waters for your heart! I am one of four Terrier mixes who came all the way from a Georgia to find my forever home.     I am a small package with a lot of love to give.  If you do not want a lap dog, I am not your guy because I am AFFECTIONATE and love nothing more than being right next to my people.  I am also a happy dude whose tail does not stop wagging.  Ever.  Other than being a cuddle monster, I am a submissive guy that could use some confidence.  Socialization will be key for me (e.g. seeing new places / being exposed to new things).  In terms of doggie socialization, I love other pups so no worries there!  I also have lived with a dog-savvy cat in my previous foster home and we got along great. However, I am not a fan of strangers in my home or on walks, and I can be protective of my people. I prefer slow introductions and I'll be fine once I get to know you.      My ideal home would be a rural one with a fenced yard. I am well behaved in the house and crate trained.  I’m eager to please and I like to learn. Honestly, I just want someone to love full time and I hope that person is you.  Apply today and come meet me ASAP!Your new pet will require a refresher in house-training. K-9 Lifesavers strongly recommends all new adopters enroll their new pet into obedience training. This provides for an easier transition into a new home, ensures the dog remains well socialized, and helps form a bond between the dog and the new family.    Adoption fees cover basic vetting, rabies (if puppy is old enough), distemper/parvo vaccinations, deworming, monthly heartworm prevention while in our care (if old enough), monthly flea/tick prevention while in our care, and transport costs. K-9 Lifesavers will also cover the cost of spay/neuter at our partner vet at 6 months of age or reimburse adopter for up to the amount of our partner vet cost should you choose to spay/neuter at your own vet.Foster Program:    Foster homes provide for the temporary care of a rescue until the dog is placed into a loving, forever home.  For more information on becoming a foster parent, and our Foster Program, visit http://www.k-9lifesavers.org/foster/ or email our Foster Coordinator at foster@k-9lifesavers.orgSPONSOR ME! Help Save Lives!    Make a tax-deductible donation today and help save a life. Story
Spot is personality and then some. He is not only adorable, but he is also high energy, loving, and playful. Spot came to us as a stray from PG County. He is engaging, fun, and as cute as a button! Spot gets his name from the spots down his back. He is white with black spots, and he is also marked by his perky ears, his fun-loving nature, and his interest in getting attention from everyone. Spot loves people and other dogs too (we don't know about cats or children yet). He does not seem to know basic commands yet, but he iis treat motivated and will likely learn quickly. Spot is new to PAW, so we will update his profile as we learn more about him. ##2619250##
