Loki is an absolutely adorable Pekingnese who is about 3 years old and weighs 12 pounds.  Loki is one of the funniest and sweetest dogs we've ever had.  He loves to plop himself on your lap, gaze into your eyes and cover you with kisses.  He is scared of dog toys but thinks people's clothes are the ultimate toys and has been known to get a little entangled in them.  Unfortunately, Loki has a neurological condition that causes him to occasionally poop before he makes it outside the doggy door.  We have taken him to a neurologist and had him thoroughly examined including an MRI and CT scan.  We can explain further when we speak to you, but basically, the signal from his brain to his nerves is a little delayed causing a lag in recognizing the sensation to  poop.  Otherwise, he is perfectly normal.  Loki loves his crate and is absolutely fine sleeping in it.  Loki would love to have either a canine or human brother or sister to run with and play with. PJ is a super adorable looking guy, but his personality is not for everyone. PJ really needs time to adjust to his people. He can be unsure when first meeting you, but with patience and a calm attitude he will soon be your wiggly baby. We are unsure of what happen to PJ before he came to us but it is evident that he is very cautious. A loud extremely active home would not be a good option for this man.   PJs perfect home would be with a single person, older couple, or mellow family that is willing to continue to work with PJ and give him all the love in the world.  He is currently in foster with three children that are respectful of his boundaries. Emails are answered in a timely fashion. Please check your spam if you do not receive a response. She will NOT be at our adoption events. Please email to arrange a convenient time to meet Annie. No unfenced pool Annie was born in approximately 2013. She is a very sweet, affectionate dog who gets along with all other dogs. She is mostly potty trained with the occasional accident. Annie is currently about 14.5 pounds. Annie has a left Atrium leaky valve and an enlarged heart, which has been managed well with medication. She will need to remain on this medication for the rest of her life and have regular follow-up visits with a cardiologist to monitor her progress. Annie was rescued from the shelter. Her owner had moved and left her with friends who did not want her so they passed her along to someone else, who also didn’t want her and they left her outside, so they didn’t have to deal with her. Annie was good at escaping from their yard and would often be found wandering the neighborhood. She was finally picked up by Animal Control and brought to the shelter. Owners were contacted and relinquished Annie to the shelter.

Haven is a must see! Her face looks like an old lady and she is an old soul. Haven's favorite thing in life is FOOD... she has a great nose and looks for food wherever she goes. She loves to go for walks and just relax outside. She would do best right now in an adult only home where she can live her best life. Haven would prefer to be the only animal in the home as she isn't the biggest fan of other dogs or cats. She is the perfect lap dog to watch tv with or sit and do crosswords with. From one of Haven's favorite Priceless Pets Volunteers: "Haven is my baby!! She loves sitting on my lap and will beg for pets any chance she gets.
