When fate intervened in her difficult life, Juniper Fox was in very rough shape. But what stood out to rescuers was her open heart and gentle bearing. A brindle mix, possibly a little Pomeranian and a dash of bulldog, she quickly became a shelter favorite, much loved and doted upon as she began her healing. Now at Muttville, Juniper Fox is continuing her journey to good health, enjoying lots of affection, canine companionship and deep respect. Her friends back at the shelter had one request: Please don’t let be her a backyard dog. She deserves to be loved in a home and have comfort for the rest of her life. We agreed. Ready to show a sweet pup what it is to be cherished and possibly a little spoiled? She’s here for it.

Sidecar is a special little guy. After being surrendered to Animal Care and Control due to a housing issue, he has seemed a little lost and scared, looking for a new family to love.   The good news is that Sidecar really, really loves people and bonds quickly. Women? Yes! Men? Yes! Kids? Adores them! (He really, really loves them and wants nothing more than to sleep on their bed and play in the backyard). Cats? Ignores them. Dogs? He’s a bit more particular and doesn’t appreciate dogs that are in his face or pushy. However he could most likely coexist very nicely with an easy going dog that isn’t too concerned with a new roommate.    Sidecar is most likely a chihuahua/pekingese mix, 2 years old, around 15lbs, neutered and microchipped. E xtra bonus: he’s potty trained! And do we even need to mention that adorable underbite?    Sidecar was clearly very loved and really wants someone to love again. If you’ve been looking for a family-friendly companion, look no further. This adorable little guy is waiting for you!  Grateful Dogs Rescue incurs substantial veterinary and other expenses in rescuing our dogs. In order to recoup some of these costs, we request a tax-deductible donation for each adoption. The suggested donation for Sidecar is $300. Harry is great company, follows you everywhere. He loves a quiet home. Only barks when someone is near your house. Very in tune with your moods. He wakes me up when my sugar level goes down. Does not bark at other dogs even if the dog barks at him. He does not like joggers and fast cars. I wanted to relocate with him overseas but since he is a snub nosed dog no airlines will take him. I’ve had 3 Lhasa apso and they are a great breed. Mellow and just a loving dog. I am really saddened by this, Harry is just a wonderful dog. Just a loving dog
