Hi, I’m Zac! I’m a senior guy who fully embraces the slower side of life. I’m definitely more of a couch potato than an adventurer, and while I enjoy a short, easy stroll to stretch my legs, I’m not interested in hikes or runs. I can be a little shy and timid when meeting new people, but I just need some time and patience to feel comfortable. Once I warm up, I seek out pets and love to sit close to my people, soaking up the attention.I get along well with other dogs and tend to keep to myself, though I don’t mind curling up next to a doggy friend when it’s time to rest. I also have met children and I loved them! Treats and wet food are some of my favorite things, and I don’t have many dislikes at all. My foster even said that I never bark and described me as a gem!I’m a calm, fluffy guy who’s very relaxing to be around and would be happiest in a laid-back home that appreciates a quiet companion and a gentle pace of life. I can`t wait to meet my forever family!Love,Zac

Boi is Mr. Personality! His owner could no longer take care of him and his best buddy Grizzly. They arrived to the shelter on 1/20. Boi is 1 year old and weighs in at 27 pounds. He loves people though he is a bit shy. He knows to sit when asked especially if you have a treat. It is reported that he is good with children. He does not do well with other dogs (except his buddy) and cats. Are you already in love with Boi? Ask for ID# 16461 Run 300. He is neutered and micro-chipped. He has tested negative for heart worm. Note - all the listings on Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb are done by volunteers. If this cat or dog came in as a lost animal, we do not know how they might be with children, other pets, or if house trained. You can bring your pet to the shelter for a meet & greet with your potential new best friend. When inquiring about a cat or dog, please use THE ID NUMBER. This pet is available for adoption from Cobb County Animal Services, 1060 Al Bishop Dr. Marietta, GA 30008, (770) 499-4136.
