Meet Lexi, an 8-lb lap hound with a silky soft coat and the sweetest spirit you could ever hope to meet! Lexi came to our rescue when her previous family could no longer care for her, and she’s been nothing but a joy ever since. This darling 10-year-young lady is gentle, kind, and truly doesn’t have a mean bone in her body. She gets along beautifully with people, dogs, and even cats — she loves everyone! During the day, Lexi can usually be found snoozing in her favorite cozy spot, but when she hears the crinkle of the treat bag or sees dinner being served — get ready! She’ll prance around with so much enthusiasm and joy that you can’t help but laugh. Her happiness is absolutely contagious. When it’s time to relax, Lexi transforms into the ultimate cuddle companion. She adores curling up in your lap and soaking up all the love you’re willing to give. Lexi has excellent house manners — she’s both house trained and crate trained — and she’s up to date on all her care: spayed, vaccinated, heartworm negative, and even had a recent dental cleaning. Rugby currently weighs about 20.6 lbs., is approximately 7 years old (est. birth date 04/29/2018), and his adoption fee is $510. Rugby has been neutered, is up to date on all vaccinations & preventatives, and is microchipped.
