Mimi <3 This sweet 3 year old cutie is about 12-15 lbs, a typical small dog and LOVES her person with all of her heart! She’s my tiny shadow all day. She can be left alone for a few hours (I’ve only used my crate so far and she does cry, but eventually settles 😊) but would be best in a home with someone who works from home or can bring her along ❤️ she’s compact! We’re working on potty training but she’s been very good with going outside rather than in the house since we’ve had her! She just doesn’t know how to let us know yet. She’s housed with 5 other dogs ranging in sizes and ages and could absolutely care less they exist but I don’t think she’d enjoy a dog that is constantly in her face or wanting to play, especially because she has a blind side! She does seem to (we think lol) like watching my dogs play and barks along 😂 She sleeps through the night in bed on my head and shoulder basically 😂❤️ and She LOOOVES her toys soooo much she loooves to play with balls, squeaky toys, soft toys, nylon bones! She’s an all around a good girl that wants a lap to sit in and her people to love🥰 Please help us find her a home!! Www.nyshar.org/applications

Chloe is a 16- year old Peekapoo that I acquired 14 years ago and I truly love her and I would love to be able to keep her forever for she is a joy to be around. She is very loyal and non-aggressive with people, children, and other pets as long as no one poses harm or threat. Chloe loves leisure car rides with the windows down, walks even in the snow, belly rubs and table food and last a comfortable couch to curl up on after her dinner and evening walk. Chloe is a member of Pet Smart/ Banfield Hospital, she is spayed, and up to date with her shots; however, she does have a heart murmur. Chloe gets groomed regularly and wears a Seresto Flee Collar year round. In closing, Chloe needs a patient and experienced adopter who truly loves animals and who has a big heart!!

Story
Duffy's person passed away and left he and his canine sibling Krista with no one wanting him. He went from being a beloved pet to being brought to a vet to be euthanized! Thankfully the vet contacted us to see if we might help. Of course we said yes! Duffy is a wonderful boy who weighs about 15 lbs and is probably around 8 years young. Duffy is a very sweet boy who is seems to have adjusted pretty well, is housebroken and walks nicely on a lead. He would prefer to be the only dog unless you might also consider adopting his house mate Krista also posted on our site!

This happy guy is a 5 year old 32 lbs short stack lowrider, Pitbull, pekinese mix. Jake is being fostered n Long Island NY. His foster family says : Jake is a joyful little dog with a heart as big as his personality. His whole body starts wagging the moment he sees someone he loves. Playtime is his favorite part of the day-  chasing a toy, zooming around the yard inviting everyone to join in the fun.  Once he’s all tuckered out, he’s happiest curled up beside you for a cozy snuggle. Jake is Sweet, affectionate and always ready to make you smile. He brings endless love, laughter, and tail wags wherever he goes. The adoption fee is $275.  We require adopters to have a safe and secure backyard - not electric or Fido fences as they are not as safe at containing dogs or keeping other animals or people out. For these reasons we do not adopt to homes with electric or Fido fencing. Jake is neutered, up to date on vaccines and microchipped.
