Juni is approximately 6 years old and Brand new to the rescue....We will have all his vetting done, and then he will be available for adoption.  Please check back for updates. Please go to the link to fill our our adoption application.  https://www.remembermerescueny.net/adoption-application  Remember Me Rescue does not adopt out of the local area, no transport is available.  We adopt to Long Island, Westchester, NYC area and parts of Connecticut only. Also, we have a very high volume of applications and we are all volunteers. We cannot respond to every application personally. Please make sure your application gives us a good picture of your family and the life you plan on providing a dog from our rescue. Story
Duffy's person passed away and left he and his canine sibling Krista with no one wanting him. He went from being a beloved pet to being brought to a vet to be euthanized! Thankfully the vet contacted us to see if we might help. Of course we said yes! Duffy is a wonderful boy who weighs about 15 lbs and is probably around 8 years young. Duffy is a very sweet boy who is seems to have adjusted pretty well, is housebroken and walks nicely on a lead. He would prefer to be the only dog unless you might also consider adopting his house mate Krista also posted on our site!

Meet Jake 😍 This adorable lowrider is a 5 year old 32 lbs pitbull pekingese mix with a big personality and an even bigger heart. Jake is the perfect mix of playful and affectionate. He has a fun silly personality,  loves peanut butter, going for walks, playing tug of war, cuddling up with his people and one of his favorite things is “singing” along with you when the mood strikes. Jake is looking for an adult only home. Sadly he was shot at by kids with BB guns when we rescued him 4 years ago. So Kids scare him and he needs a calm home without kids and preferably as your only dog. He can be fine with other dogs but is selective. Jake would thrive with someone who appreciates his goofy, loving, silly nature and is looking for a loyal companion to share daily adventures and snuggles. The adoption fee is $275.  We require adopters to have a safe and secure backyard - not electric or Fido fences as they are not as safe at containing dogs or keeping other animals or people out. For these reasons we do not adopt to homes with electric or Fido fencing. Jake is neutered and microchipped.
