Let's not forget the cutest husband and wife duo... we pulled them from the shelter with their 3 beautiful baby girls. Thanks to their awesome foster mom, they survived pneumonia and are all doing well now.  Papa and Mama Coco were terrific parents, but now it's their turn to enjoy life as a loving couple with a loving forever family.. Papa is about 4 and Mama Coco is about 7. I'm thinking Lhasa mixes. They really love each other, and are very bonded. They love to play with toys , snuggle, but most of all love to be held and petted.  Mama is shy, papa is playful.  They are very loving once they trust you, but can be nippy with strangers and when there is a lot going on around them they get very stressed. Also Typical to the breed, they are very protective of the people they love. They'd be happiest as only pups. They are fun and loving. Augie, 7 years old, approximately 18 lbs.  Augie is slowly coming around after being surrendered to a high kill shelter by his owner, supposedly for biting him when he touched his ear. We noticed that Augie has a terrible ear infection. If he did even bite, it could have been out of pain. People who care take these things into consideration. Augie came to us very fearful and shut down, he is slowly showing signs of feeling safe. You can see it in his face and eyes already, that he is relaxing. Augie is going to need a calm, patient, and loving person who will give him time and space. An adult home is best. Possibly another calm dog who will show Augie that life isn't all bad. Augie loves walks!! Storm is a very playful 4 yr old LhasaPoo. He is smart and very curious. He is very active and house-broken. Storm has been diagnosed with seizures which are controlled with medication which he takes twice a day. He would do well with a family with children over 12 yrs old. He is an active dog so a home with a fenced in yard would be best for him. Storm will make you have a smile on your face every day with his silly personality.

I got Teddy from a shelter in Texas in March. My living situation is changing for a few months, so if you'd only want to foster him that's fine too. He is super sweet. He knows to go outside for potty. He will bark at strangers so a quieter home is ideal. He may take some time getting used to you. Because of his rescue background he has some anxiety. But he loved to curl up with you and play whenever!

Meet Dutch and Feisty...a bonded pair of 10 year old sweethearts looking for a loving home together. They have spent their lives together, and their bond is special. Dutch, the handsome gentleman, is the leader of the duo, while Feisty is his devoted sidekick who loves to follow his lead. Together, they are a loving, cuddly pair who find comfort and happiness in each other. Both dogs are friendly with people and other dogs, and they aren't big barkers. They have wonderful, gentle personalities and would love a home where they can enjoy the simple pleasures of life: cozy naps, cuddles, companionship, and being loved. Sadly, their owner had to make the heartbreaking decision to surrender them to PetRescue due to financial difficulties. It was clear these two had been very loved. When they arrived we treated them to a spa day to help them feel fresh, comfortable, and ready for their next chapter. At 10 years old, Dutch and Feisty deserve a soft place to land and a family who understands that love doesn't have an expiration date. They have spent 10 years side by side, and we hope they can spend their golden years the same way: together. Can you give Dutch and Feisty the happily ever after they deserve?
