This is an owner assisted rehome. This sweet peke is located in La Plata, MD and is available for a new home anytime. She is formerly a breeder release dog who was treated very nicely in her former life. She was recently adopted and due to raising 2 small kids, a newly adopted dog has become a lot to handle. She is currently with her present adopter looking for her new home. All potential homes will be prescreened. Gets along with cats, kids, and other dogs Born 4/5/19, 13 lbs Gets along with everyone here. Crate trained, leash trained, and working on house breaking. (She is doing very well with potty training!) Vet care. Spayed. Parvo distemper vac, rabies vac. Frontline, all vet paperwork will go home with her. Full vet report. Heartworm tested neg, microchipped. Dental with extractions.

Two small lions. One big opinion about where they belong: your lap. Gizmo and Ginger are an 8-year-old bonded pair of Pekingese who recently lost the person they loved most. Their primary human passed away, and the other caregiver sadly developed severe dementia. With no one able to care for them, rescue stepped in to make sure these two stayed safe — and, most importantly, stayed together. Because some friendships are simply non-negotiable. Gizmo and Ginger are everything people love about Pekingese: clever, opinionated, loyal, and surprisingly bold for their size. They’re also delightfully goofy. One minute they’re trotting around like tiny royalty, the next they’re bouncing into a play session that looks suspiciously like a comedy act. They adore their people and are the kind of dogs who bond deeply with their family. Expect loyal shadows, warm laps, and the occasional Pekingese “management opinion” about how the household should run. When the excitement is over, they’re perfectly happy curled up in a crate together or snoozing on your lap like the seasoned cuddle professionals they are. Gizmo and Ginger are good with other dogs and bring a lovely balance of companionship and easygoing charm. As part of our Silver Paws senior program, they receive full senior bloodwork so we can establish a health baseline and make sure they’re starting their next chapter healthy and supported. They don’t need a perfect home — just a kind one that appreciates loyal little dogs with big personalities and will keep them together. If you’ve been missing the sound of tiny paws, snorts of contentment, and a pair of devoted shadows following you from room to room, Gizmo and Ginger may be exactly who you’ve been waiting for. Percy may be a senior, but you’d never know it by the way he acts. This 11-year-old Peekapoo has plenty of pep in his step and a heart full of love to give.  Percy seems and acts much younger than his age. He’s full of energy, loves to play fetch, and is always happy to join you for some fun before settling in for what he does best, snuggling. This sweet boy is a true lapdog at heart and is happiest when he’s close to his people. When the weather is nice, Percy also enjoys spending time outside soaking up the fresh air, but he’ll never say no to a warm lap or cozy cuddle session. Percy’s strengths make him a wonderful companion:• Super loving and incredibly sweet• Dog friendly• Housetrained• Great disposition He gets along well with the other dogs in his foster home, but if Percy had to choose, he’d definitely say his favorite place is right next to his people. Percy has also had his dental needs taken care of, which means most of his teeth were removed.
