Meet Mama Kelly Mama Kelly’s story is one that stays with you. She came to us from Folsom Prison, where she wasn’t just another cat—she was an inmate favorite, a source of comfort, calm, and unconditional love in a very hard place. The people there loved her deeply. While there, Mama Kelly became pregnant and later gave birth to three precious babies, caring for them with the quiet devotion only a true mama can give. Now that her babies are grown, it’s finally her turn. Mama Kelly may be a Persian mix, with a soft, gentle presence and the sweetest circle marking on her face—like a little reminder of how special she is. She is spayed, vaccinated, and currently with our friends at Friends of Felines, waiting patiently for a home of her own. She has been around kids, other cats, and dogs, and she takes everything in stride with grace and kindness. Mama Kelly is truly just… love. The inmates loved her so much that they wished she could come back. Letting her go was not easy—but they understood something important: Mama Kelly deserves more. She deserves a warm couch, gentle hands, and a family who will love her forever. Mama Kelly has given comfort, raised babies, and touched so many hearts. Now she’s ready to give her heart to you. 🐾💖

Apple is approximately 10 years young and looking for a loving home. Apple was found as a stray in a rural area near death covered in foxtails and with a foxtail stuck in her mouth making it painful for her to eat. When she was found she only weighed three and a half pounds! She has since healed from that experience and is healthy and ready for a home. Apple is a gentle sweetheart. She appreciates a soft, gentle touch and will purr and make biscuits when you pet her. She has extra toes on her paws making them look like mitts. She is an adorable, sweet girl who is craving a quiet, loving home where she can be spoiled and enjoy all the love and attention she could ever want. Apple loves being brushed and this is a great way to bond with her. There is so much to discover with this sweet lady. She would love to be your friend and cuddle buddy. Apple seems to do well with other cats, but would appreciate a calm household with cats who will respect her space if she needs it. We do not know how Apple would be around dogs, but if your dog is mellow she'd probably be fine. All animals are up-to-date on vaccinations (including rabies if over 4 months old), microchipped, and spayed or neutered. All dogs have been been vaccinated with DHPP and Bordatella (kennel cough) and heartworm tested negative (if over 6 months).    All cats have been vaccinated with FVRCP and current on flea control. Misty was abandoned with her sister. Her sister was not as affected and was adopted out Misty took a little longer to trust but she is an absolute love now I really loves to just have pets and cuddle up close to you. She would be a little shy at first so need someone patient while she gets acclimated to her new space. She is a kitty that can be alone but she is also fostered with Button who she gets along well with.

This sweet girl is a little shy at first and then she just loves to cuddle by you and be pet she's more of a chill Kitty than a playful Kitty. She gets along with other kitties and if you're looking for two she'd be great with Button.
