Hi! I’m MASON (DOB: ~01/18/2019), a male purebred Shaded Silver Persian. I was surrendered to a local animal control with several of my siblings when my owner could no longer care for me. I lacked full socialization at the time I made my way to FFRS, but now I am a good boy - making a 180° turn-around since my intake, allow petting, and I would love a calm home with someone who is patient with me. I am not shy or aggressive – I just don’t yet fully understand this whole affection thing. Sometimes I like it a lot. My main motivation is treats that make me very happy. I forget my lack of socialization skills when someone plays with me. I can be petted, but I prefer it just be my head and shoulders and I absolutely LUV my neck massages and will reach out asking for one! I will let you know when I’ve had enough petting by backing away. I have have started purring when I'm petted. I don’t seem to mind other cats as long as they are nice to me but have not met any dogs. My manners are wonderful and with patience, I may become a cat who likes to be nearby on the sofa with you or maybe even on the bed. I don’t think I will ever be a snuggly kind of guy, but I am a good gentleman and will be a good companion. I am neutered, up-to-date with vaccines, negative for Feline FIV/FeLV, dewormed, have received flea preventative, and am microchipped. My adoption fee is $300.00.October 28, 2026, 2:39 pm

Kiara, (like the princess lioness from lion king 2) has been with me since she was 3 months old. Kiara got sick when she was small but pulled through for us. She was born with a lazy eye, and after getting her back healthy she changed a bit. She does not climb or jump like most other cats but still loves to play! Her depth perception is just a little off. She is your typical cat who wants to play when she wants and attention when she wants it. She can be affectionate but she wants her space. Her brother Kovu (also listed, would be great for them to be together but is okay if they are not), they fight with each other from time to time because she is a strong dominant female cat as he is too. She like to venture outside but sadly we do not have the time or efforts to watch her every day for long periods of time. She is very curious and not as weary as Kovu. She is food driven so watch your ankles and she loves her routine!
