He is pretty vocal about it and can be a little skittish at first, but once you start petting him, that engine really gets going. Unfortunately, we cannot keep him as he has some sort of GI condition that makes his poops very runny and he sometimes has accidents as a result of this. We were advised to switch to a Hydrolyzed Protein diet, but even with RFID feeders, he likes to get into the others food. Between all the cleaning and vet bills, things have become untenable for us. We would be willing to provide a feeder and the leftover food to anyone who can take him. He needs a loving home that can really pay attention to his medical needs (financially as well as from a time obligation). Our households jobs make it so we cant constantly be watching him and cannot afford to continue to keep him. He has gotten some of his shots, but I dont have the records on hand right now.

Hi! I’m MASON (DOB: ~01/18/2019), a male purebred Shaded Silver Persian. I was surrendered to a local animal control with several of my siblings when my owner could no longer care for me. I lacked full socialization at the time I made my way to FFRS, but now I am a good boy - making a 180° turn-around since my intake, allow petting, and I would love a calm home with someone who is patient with me. I am not shy or aggressive – I just don’t yet fully understand this whole affection thing. Sometimes I like it a lot. My main motivation is treats that make me very happy. I forget my lack of socialization skills when someone plays with me. I can be petted, but I prefer it just be my head and shoulders and I absolutely LUV my neck massages and will reach out asking for one! I will let you know when I’ve had enough petting by backing away. I have have started purring when I'm petted. I don’t seem to mind other cats as long as they are nice to me but have not met any dogs. My manners are wonderful and with patience, I may become a cat who likes to be nearby on the sofa with you or maybe even on the bed. I don’t think I will ever be a snuggly kind of guy, but I am a good gentleman and will be a good companion. CBJ came from a litter of one of our cats. She is 12 yr young and in perfect health. She loves to be petted and seeks affection. She lives in a multi-cat home and never causes any drama. She has a beautiful longhair gray and white tuxedo coat that doesn’t require regular brushing because she self grooms. Her ideal home would be with her brother Bandit who is also listed here, but she gets along well with other cats and would do well in almost any situation. CBJ is playful and has a sweet meow. She would make a great addition to a loving home.

Chloe is a beautiful, sweet longhair calico. She is a little shy but loves attention. We adopted her from a friend that was moving and couldn’t bring her along. She is a very healthy 14 yr old. He is very affectionate and friendly to people and tolerates other cats, but his ideal home would be either as an only cat or with his sister CBJ, who is also listed on this website. Bandit loves to be petted and will show you his belly to pet. He also raises up on his hind legs to meet your hand for a pet. He is a real lover and will want lots of cuddles. Bandit’s fur changes with the seasons and will reduce volume for the summer. He grooms himself regularly and doesn’t require regular brushing. He is a senior and does better on dry food for urinary health. He had 1 uti episode years ago and hasn’t had any issues since. He is fine with regular wet food and treats.
