Story
Hi! I’m MASON (DOB: ~01/18/2019), a male purebred Shaded Silver Persian. I was surrendered to a local animal control with several of my siblings when my owner could no longer care for me. I lacked full socialization at the time I made my way to FFRS, but now I am a good boy - making a 180° turn-around since my intake, allow petting, and I would love a calm home with someone who is patient with me. I am not shy or aggressive – I just don’t yet fully understand this whole affection thing. Sometimes I like it a lot. My main motivation is treats that make me very happy. I forget my lack of socialization skills when someone plays with me. I can be petted, but I prefer it just be my head and shoulders and I absolutely LUV my neck massages and will reach out asking for one! I will let you know when I’ve had enough petting by backing away. I have have started purring when I'm petted. I don’t seem to mind other cats as long as they are nice to me but have not met any dogs. My manners are wonderful and with patience, I may become a cat who likes to be nearby on the sofa with you or maybe even on the bed. I don’t think I will ever be a snuggly kind of guy, but I am a good gentleman and will be a good companion. I am neutered, up-to-date with vaccines, negative for Feline FIV/FeLV, dewormed, have received flea preventative, and am microchipped. My adoption fee is $300.00.September 17, 2026, 3:06 pm

Hi, Im Frankie! Im a laid back girl who loves spending my days lounging in a cat tree, soaking up the sunshine, or curling up in someones lap. Im a huge cuddle bug and will happily seek you out for head scratches and full body rubs.

Ive been around other cats and I tolerate them, but dont have much interest. Dogs make me a little nervous, but I may do well with one who understands and respects my space. I have the sweetest, quietest meow and love when people talk to me. Ill even talk back!

When I get especially excited about food or attention, Ill purr, rub against your legs, and make sure you know Im there. I would love a laid back home with plenty of comfortable places to lounge and a family who wants a sweet little shadow by their side.

XOXO,
Frankie

Story
Tiny, Fluffy, and Finally Getting to Be a Kitten Don't let all that fluff fool you. Powerpuff is a very, very petite girl hiding underneath one spectacular tuxedo coat. When we first met Powerpuff, she was in rough shape. She was outside caring for five kittens and giving everything she had to them while barely eating enough herself. She didn't seem to know much about toys, cat beds, or all the little luxuries of being an indoor cat. Now she does. And once Powerpuff feels at home, you get to meet her true self: a kitten. She is playful without being chaotic and loving without being clingy. At first, toys were a bit of a mystery. Now? Oh boy. She LOVES them. Wand toys, catnip, anything she can chase, and especially the interactive toy with the little feather that goes around and around. Apparently Powerpuff had a lot of lost kittenhood to make up for. She adores Bubbles and Buttercup, and the three of them play, nap, and snuggle together constantly. You'll regularly find Powerpuff curled up asleep with one of them after a long day of very important kitten business. She would absolutely love to be adopted with Bubbles or Buttercup, but she also coexists beautifully with multiple foster cats and is happy to share beds, food, toys, and space. With proper introductions, we think she could make a wonderful new feline friend. And then there is Powerpuff's signature pose. We call it Superman. Both tiny front paws stretched straight out in front of her while she sleeps. Hammock? Superman. Couch? Superman. Carpet? Superman. Cat bed? Superman. Look through her pictures and you'll notice she spends an unreasonable percentage of her life preparing for takeoff. Once she knows and trusts you, she is incredibly affectionate. She LOVES being brushed and petted and getting little kisses. She'll roll around happily, purr, stretch out, and make tiny air biscuits while you love on her. She isn't the kind of cat who needs to be attached to you every second, but she genuinely loves her people and wants to be part of the family. Watching Powerpuff blossom has been incredibly special. She went from a tiny, struggling mama who put everything into keeping her babies alive to this ridiculously fluffy little girl who finally knows that food will always be there, beds are for sleeping in, toys are for attacking, and she doesn't have to take care of anyone anymore. She finally gets to be the kitten herself. And she is really, really good at it. Check out more photos and videos of Powerpuff here Powerpuff Photo Album Powerpuff is easygoing and coexists beautifully with other cats, but she has a special soft spot for her sister, Buttercup. If the opportunity came along, she'd be over the moon to be adopted with her—but she's also confident enough to shine in a home of her own. Estimated 1-2 years old Fully vetted, flea-treated, dewormed, microchipped, and spayed FIV/FeLV/heartworms negative If you are interested in meeting Powerpuff, please submit an adoption application here Adoption Application Form Questions? info@littlelivesatl.org
