Pascal is a 2-year-old Persian mix with the sweetest heart and the fluffiest fur. This gentle boy was surrendered when food allergies caused painful skin issues his previous family couldn’t manage. At his worst, Pascal scratched so much he lost his whiskers and had to wear a cone for months. With the right care, he’s now recovered and thriving. Pascal will likely need to stay on prescription food and daily allergy medication for life, but in return, he’ll give you endless love. He’s a lap cat through and through—happiest when curled up beside you, soaking up all the pets you have to give. At night, he likes to jump on the bed and settle in for a cozy sleep near his people. Greetings all! I’m FELIX (DOB: ~08/19/2020), a male purebred Shaded Silver Persian who has a rough couple of months. I was found in a box by my most recent caregivers, but after a few weeks, they decided they could not properly care for me as the other cats in the home were traumatizing me. They wanted to find me a good, Persian-savvy home – someone with experience with Persians. I am quite talkative, will beg for attention, but I can be a bit shy and reserved around new people and dogs at first, but then I want to be friends. I do have a sensitive stomach but have been doing pretty good on my present diet and would like to continue with it. If you are willing to take on my wonderful personality and listen to me talk to you, then I’m the guy for you! You can call me Vera - named for my previous caretakers grandmother and it is absolutely fitting! I am an old soul - prim, proper and practically a lady. I may be slow to warm but don't judge me because I would prefer to lay at your feet rather than smother you in fur like some less civilized felines. Let it be known, I am also a foodie - and tend to turn my nose up at anything you try to bribe me with. Truly, even if it's organic, non-gmo, fresh baked and or wild caught, I'll pass. Out of a can you say? Posh! I simply prefer my kibble dry - perhaps the OG V was a martini drinker? Ha. I'm pretty sure that makes me the lowest maintenance bougie cat you've ever come across! That said, like most dames, I do have a vice. You should check out my Churu (nom nom nom) video - I fully understand the hype! If you're on social media, I'm bound to go viral for you. My foster family doesn't have any interest in helping me become famous ... do you? In all seriousness, Vera is a giant fluff ball of elegance. She prances when she walks and is proud to swish that stunning tail whenever it suits. We believe Vera to be cat friendly, but would most likely prefer to be in a home where she got to be "The One & Only" getting all the attention for herself. Though she wants to be social and in the room with her foster family (and all of the chaos, their pets, music, teens) she likes to keep her distance and observe it all from a safe space. We have come to the conclusion that Vera actually requires very little, she has no anxiety about being left home alone all day - in fact, she may just prefer it!
