Story
Adam and Julia are two gorgeous Persians. Julia is the momma to Adam. This mother/son duo came from the streets. The worse part of this is they are blind through no fault of their own. Their kitty ophthalmologist examined them and said it was a genetic condition. Julia is a very sweet 3 to 4 year old buff colored girl. She is more on the petite side. Loves attention and to be petted and brushed. Adam, her son, is larger in size than his momma. He is buff and white. Adam is shy. He loves to be petted and kissed on his head but will need time to adjust which is natural considering his handicap. We would love to adopt them out together. Home should be quiet and not too many steps. Please open your heart to this lovely pair of Persians. Who rescued who… ** We would love a foster home for them to allow them to stretch their legs. ** Fostered in Fairfax, VA

Story
Trafil is a handsome young male kitty found roaming the busy streets. A lady out shopping took him home until a rescue could be found. He has that gorgeous charcoal grey coat that is unusual. Trafil is a lovely sweet friendly cat. He was obviously owned at one time. He likes to be petted and brushed. He gets along well with other cats. We would like to see him adopted into a home with another pet so he can play and interact and have fun. He has not been tested on dogs or kids but should be fine. Fostered in Fairfax, VA.

Story
Oscar is a gorgeous male flat faced Persian. He has that adorable tiny nose and big round eyes. He was badly treated by a mentally ill person. Thank God a rescuer removed Oscar from that home. He is very very sweet. He loves human attention and gets along fine with other cats. Oscar is calm like most Persians. We want Oscar to be adopted into a home experienced with Persian cats due to the care and maintenance this breed requires. Fostered in Fairfax, VA.

Story
Shakira is a stunning long haired, brown tabby, young lady we are thrilled to have with us. She was rescued from the mean streets as a stray. We think she is about 2 to 3 years old. Shakira is adapting to her foster home so her true colors have yet come out but she is as sweet as pie. Loves to be petted and doted on. She is getting along well with her new foster feline friends. We would like to see Shakira in a home that is experienced with long haired cats. Grooming is necessary for cats like Shakira. Fostered in Fairfax, VA

Aurora is a loving, gentle soul with a story to tell. This sweet young lady came all the way from Kuwait and is now ready to find her forever home. She is a true people-lover who will adorably plop down at your feet for pets. She adores being held and will ask for your attention with the cutest little nose-crinkling meow.   She's the perfect mix of playful and affectionate, and loves interacting with her people. She’s fantastic with children and is happy to live with other friendly cats, though she'd be happiest in a dog-free home. With her soft, plush white and tabby coat, Aurora is as beautiful as she is sweet.   She's ready to fill your home with love and purrs. All she needs is a family to notice her fun personality. Annabelle is such a sweet, affectionate girl with a diva alter ego! She is both sweet and cheeky, she loves to play and chase the other cats in rescue. Story
Ricky is a very calm, loving cat and he is happiest when in his human's lap.  His owner is elderly and put him up for adoption because if she becomes disabled or dies, he will be euthanized at the West Virginia shelter.  He is only 6 years old and should live quite a few years.         Nothing is known about his first year although it is thought he was with a family who moved and left him behind.  He was first observed when he appeared with other stray cats in a local feeding area.  One cold night he went for food but found none and went to the house of the woman he had seen putting out food.   He pawed at the door; he hungry!  As winter set in, the woman trapped him and took him to a foster home where he joined nine other cats.                The foster loved Ricky immediately and it was after covid when many pets were abandoned so she kept him.  He is very well behaved and loves his toys, especially soft catnip toys and the laser pointer.  A high perch is a favorite place to sit while he watches the birds and squirrels outside. (Grey kitty) Sophie is a very loving, playful, lap cat.  She had apparently been abandoned when she became pregnant.  A kind lady found her on her porch, fed her, and prepared a shelter. The lady was very allergic and could not take her inside.  A rescue picked up the cats and put them in foster care. The kittens were quickly adopted but the mother remained with the foster.   The foster is elderly and needs to surrender Sophie because she feels Sophie will outlive her for quite a few years and deserves a long happy life.   Sophie has lived with six other cats;  they got along well in a four-room house with glass enclosed porch.  Sophie's beautiful green eyes follow her human's every move.  It is believed she would be good with children; however, she has only been with teenagers and adults.  She likes interactive toys and enjoys high perches and tunnels on a cat tower. She also likes to sit in laps!    Adoption fee: $300, includes all shots, sterilized, dewormed, deflea, microchip   If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an application and a representative will get back to you shortly to answer any questions you may have.
