Story
Selen is a stunning diluted torti Persian rescued off the streets of Egypt. Her fur coat is plush. We are so happy to have her with us. We think she is between 1 and 2 years old. Very sweet and calm. Gets along well with other cats. Selen would love a forever home with another kitty and lots of love and attention. Prefer her new owners to have Persian/Himalayan experience dealing with grooming long haired cats. Fostered in Fairfax.

Story
Kharboosha is a stunning Persian/Himalayan young female that was rescued off the streets of Egypt. Leaving innocent animals to fend for themselves is not uncommon. We try to help and find homes when we can. Gorgeous Kharboosha likes the play and sit on laps. Plays with toys and enjoys gentle brushing. Kharboosha was probably abused at some point because she can swat your arm when scared. Otherwise she is a wonderful cat. We would like for her to go to a very quiet home where they are experienced with long haired cats and this breed due to grooming, etc. Because of her occasional swatting when overstimulated she needs to go to a home with a family who is willing to be patient and calm with her. Story
Simba is a delightful 5-month-old kitten with a vibrant personality that endears him to everyone he meets. As a unique half Persian, half tabby mix, he boasts the best of both worlds with his striking appearance and pleasant demeanor. Simba has a luxurious coat that is as low-maintenance as it is beautiful, shedding very little, which means you can enjoy his cuddles without worrying about a trail of fur. This little ball of joy has an insatiable appetite for play. His energetic antics are a delightful exhibition of feline agility and charm. When he's not engaged in spirited play, he's the epitome of affection and comfort, seeking the warm embrace of a welcoming lap. There, he'll contentedly purr, a rumbling symphony of joy and love that resonates through his little body. Simba's eyes sparkle with the innocence of his youth, yet they reflect a deep well of affection. His mixed heritage gifts him with a tabby's playful spirit and a Persian's regal grace, making him a companion who is

Story
"The Golden Years" should be about rest, stability, and endless love. At 14 years old, Clementine hasn't been able to experience any of that. In September 2021, Clementine's owner died, and she was taken BARCS. As we can't resist sweet seniors in need, she quickly became a part of the AARF family. Clementine was adopted a couple months later, but was returned to AARF in March of 2023. She hadn't received any necessary veterinary care during that time, exacerbating her health issues. Since then, her foster mom has been stabilizing her back to good health - and Clementine is ready to finally find the FOREVER home in which she can live out her Golden Years. Clementine is undeniably gorgeous. She lures you in with her persistent wink (she only has one eye) and her stunning peach coat. While some might call Clementine "high-maintenance", we thinks she just expects to be treated like the Queen she is: -Look but don't touch (much): She will tolerate being picked up or held for a short time, but petting her below the halfway point on her back is a no-no. -One and only: Clementine will do best as an only cat. If other "peasants" are around, her litter box manners deteriorate. And that's unbecoming a Queen like her. -Epicure extraordinaire: Only the highest quality canned stuff for this lady. -Primp and proper: Clementine's luscious locks require regular grooming. If you follow her rules, this lady will bestow endless love upon you, in between her endless naps. Medically, Clementine has hyperthyroidism and requires a monthly shot for arthritis. Though this darling feline-of-a-certain-age requires a particular home for her particular needs, we wouldn't call her anything less than "perfect". Do you have a heart big enough for sweet Clementine to live out the best days of her life? If you'd like to take me home, please fill out an adoption application at this website - http://www.animalalliesrescue.org/adoption-application - and choose me, Clementine! My adoption fee is $50 and AARF wants me to tell you that their adoption package covers all expenses needed to prepare kitties like me for our forever homes. By the time you meet us, we've already been spayed/neutered (if age appropriate) and microchipped. We've been checked by a veterinarian, and we're up to date on age appropriate immunizations against rabies and FVRCP (feline viral rhinotracheitis, calicivirus & panleukopenia). Some of us have had extensive surgeries, dental work, or other necessary procedures. AARF is committed to getting all of us entirely ready for a happy, healthy, love-filled life!
