Story
Casper is a very handsome 2 year or so, white Persian boy we are thrilled to have. We were sent a video of poor Casper looking for food next to a busy street. We knew immediately he needs a safe home and our rescue can make that happen. Casper is very sweet and gentle. Likes attention and to be petted and doted on. He is so much fun. Loves to run around and play with the other foster cats. His fur is a little ratty due to neglect but with good grooming he will look stunning. Because Casper is a long haired cat we prefer he goes to a home with experience caring for long haired cats. Regular grooming is important for Persians as well as regular eye care. Fostered in Fairfax, VA

Story
Lili is a darling young black and white part Persian female cat. She was rescued from the streets left to fend for herself. How can you not love her big fluffy face with those black and white markings. She looks like a female Sylvester. Lili is so sweet and lovable. She is currently housed with Lola. Lili likes to be petted and doted on. She can sure play with the best of them. We would like to see Lili in a home with another cat. She gets along so well with other felines. Not tested on dogs or kids but should be ok if they are calm and well-behaved. Fostered in Fairfax, VA

Story
Lola is such a beautiful long haired pure white Persian female with yellow eyes we are so happy to have with us. As with the others, she was left on the mean streets to fend for herself. Lola has a fantastic purrsonality. She is extremely outgoing. Seeks out her foster mom and meows loudly wanting more attention. She is being housed with her buddy Lili. Both girls are very playful and full of energy. Lola has long hair so we prefer her to go to a home experienced with Persian or Himalayan experience due to the grooming and maintenance of the fur. She loves other cats so we want her to have a feline companion. Fostered in Fairfax, VA

Story
Marvin is a darling approximately 1 year old long haired orange and white boy we are thrilled to have with our rescue. A kind lady saw him and 2 other cats stuffed in a bird cage at a bazaar for sale. She bought the 3 cats just to get them safe and out of the horrendous conditions. Marvin is just fabulous. He has the handsome face, plush fur and purrsonality to go along with his great looks. He has not been with us long but the report we got from his rescuer is that he loves people and other cats. He is very outgoing. Loves to play. Because he is young we would like to see him go to a home with another cat. Not tested on kids or dogs but should be just fine. Fostered in Fairfax, VA

Story
Brooke is a gorgeous female Persian we are thrilled to have with us. Not many cats have that light silver coloring. She was found going through garbage in a dark alley looking for food. We think she is about 2 to 3 years old. Brooke hasn’t been with us very long so she is adapting to all of the change in her life. She loves to be petted and doted on. We are taking it slow with her so she can learn how to trust again. We would like to see Brooke in a home with experience caring for Persians or long haired cats. It is important their fur gets brushed. Fostered in Fairfax, VA

PLEASE READ: If you are interested in meeting and/or adopting, please apply online at www.catdogfriendrescue.com. Please do NOT call or send inquiries via Adopt A Pet or PetFinder as we are a small rescue and cannot handle a large influx of inquiries and phone calls. You can email us at acatsfriendinc@gmail.com if you have questions, but if you would like to be considered for adoption, you must fill out an application. Please note if you are applying for a kitten under six months of age, you must have another friendly kitty in the home or adopt another kitten. Additionally, unless otherwise indicted that this animal is a purebred, all of our animals are rescues and the "breed" selection is a best guess based on their apperance as we have no way of knowing their specific breeds.  Out of state adoptions (outside Virginia/DC/Maryland) do require three years of excellent past or current veterinary references. We look forward to hearing from you!  Adoption Fee includes spay/neuter and microchip insertion.  Please note these are not pedigree animals and we have no way of attesting if any of them are hypoallergenic and as such cannot adopt to homes with allergies. ##2656124##

Story
Annabelle is such a sweet, affectionate girl with a diva alter ego! She is both sweet and cheeky, she loves to play and chase the other cats in rescue. She absolutely loves attention/being pet and will come for cuddles, and snuggle at night on the bed but does not like to be picked up. She is a sweetheart. Eats both wet and dry food and is not a particularly fussy eater. Adoption fee: $200, includes all shots, sterilized, dewormed, deflea, microchip   If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an application and a representative will get back to you shortly to answer any questions you may have.
