Meow is just a fabulous 6 year old orange female Persian we are so happy to have with us. She was not wanted anymore by her family and threatened to just put her on the street to fend for herself. What is wrong with people? Meow is a very healthy adult with gorgeous thick long fur. It took her awhile to feel safe due to her life being completely uprooted. She just wants to follow her foster mom around and sit on her lap. Is a bed hog. She loves to be doted on. Gets along beautifully with other foster cats but really wants one on one attention. We would like to see her go to a home with Persian or long hair experience. Her fur will need to be maintained and groomed. Fostered in Fairfax, VA

Hamees is a gorgeous young white female Persian who we are thrilled to have the honor of finding her forever home. There are not enough great things to say about her. Hamees is loving, sweet, friendly and very playful. Loves to be doted on. We would like to see Hamees in a home with experience caring for long haired cats due to the ongoing maintenance they can require. Fostered in Fairfax, VA

Mokka (Persian) is a fabulous young adult bright orange colored Persian. She is amazing and has the cutest darn face. Mokka came to us after a family did not want her and Sonbol her companion. The family was tired of the cats and threatened to dump them on the street. We LOVE Mokka. She adores human interaction, and demands petting and doting on. She plays well with her foster friends. She is a wonderful cat who will give much joy to the lucky family who adopts her. Mokka should go to a home with experience grooming and caring for Persians and/or long fur. Her eyes will need to be wiped like most Persians. Fostered in Fairfax, VA.

Shakira is a stunning long haired, brown tabby, young lady we are thrilled to have with us. She was rescued from the mean streets as a stray. We think she is about 2 to 3 years old. Shakira is adapting to her foster home so her true colors have yet come out but she is as sweet as pie. Loves to be petted and doted on. She is getting along well with her new foster feline friends. We would like to see Shakira in a home that is experienced with long haired cats. Grooming is necessary for cats like Shakira. Fostered in Fairfax, VA

Kitty is a beautiful approximately 3 year old dilute calico Persian. She is gorgeous. She was abandoned. Thank goodness she is with us Kitty loves people and is outgoing. Enjoys petting and grooming. When she first arrived she needed her mats shaved by the vet probably from neglect. She will make a wonderful addition to a home. We would like a home with experience caring for cats with long fur. She will need to be maintained. Fostered in Fairfax, VA

“I’m from the Islands, mon!” Tuxedo is a high energy, intelligent, opinionated, outgoing, and playful young cat from St. Thomas USVI. Like most Oriental Short Hairs, he is very talkative and loves people and their attention. The minute you let him out to play, he is all business. He could play goalie on a hockey team. He also needs a four legged friend to play with (got a cat friendly dog?) OR if you have teenagers who want to seriously run him off his paws, come on down! He can chase down ANY laser pointer, and is super fast on the chase. And fearless! Tuxedo is very handsome and photogenic, pretty fur, and nice long legs – just check out his photos. Aurora is a very friendly young lady all the way from Kuwait.  She is gentle, sweet, loves pets, likes being held, and is good with children.  She will quietly “meow” to you and crinkles her nose when she does that and it is very cute!  She likes to play, is easy to pick up, and has a nice purr.  She likes being noticed, and has a fun personality.   She is OK with other cats but will not tolerate any dog. She has very soft dense fur and her body is white, with some tabby markings on her head and ears, but her entire tail is tabby.   Check out her photos, come on down and meet her! Annabelle is such a sweet, affectionate girl with a diva alter ego! She is both sweet and cheeky, she loves to play and chase the other cats in rescue. She absolutely loves attention/being pet and will come for cuddles, and snuggle at night on the bed but does not like to be picked up. She is a sweetheart. Eats both wet and dry food and is not a particularly fussy eater.
