Manny is a stunning medium to long hair male cat rescued off the mean streets. He is safe now. Manny has the most fluffy ruff that surrounds his face. Could be some Maine coon in him. Part Persian. Not sure. Manny has never met a human or cat he does not like. He craves attention. Can be a bit needy at first. Boy, can he play. He needs a large space with a lot of activity. He was in a small apartment for a month and the family realized he has to be able to run around and explore. Extremely active. Manny needs stimulation so another active cat is paramount. He will do great with kids and probably a dog. Fostered in Fairfax, VA

Jermeen is a gorgeous young all black fluffy kitten rescued from the mean streets. We love having her. She is so stinking cute!! Jermeen came to us with a sore on her back we needed to treat and clear up. Not sure if a burn. She had a very sore reddened mouth so she had a dental and 9 teeth pulled. This is probably due to poor health as a kitten without good care. She is so loving and sweet. Plays hard with other foster friends. We would like to see Jermeen in a loving home with another cat to play with. She has long fur so experience mantaining long hair is preferred. Fostered in Fairfax, VA

Hi, I'm Puff! I traveled all the way from Kuwait to Washington, DC in search of the loving home I deserve—and now I'm ready to find my forever family. I'm as sweet as they come and incredibly easy to care for. I love everyone, including dogs and other cats, and I'm happy to just do my own thing while soaking up the love. I'm truly the definition of a good girl. I do have mild asthma, so I'll need a family that's willing to give me my inexpensive oral medication three times to help keep me healthy and happy. Meet Bailey  Bailey is a beautiful 8-year-old declawed long-haired sweetheart whose life was turned upside down when she was surrendered to a shelter. Because of her age, her future was sadly very uncertain. Thankfully, the shelter recognized what a special girl she is and reached out to Fancy Cats Rescue Team, giving Bailey the second chance she so deserves.  This gentle girl has clearly been through a great deal. Her beautiful long coat wasn't cared for the way it should have been, so she's looking forward to a little extra TLC, some grooming, and a trim to help her feel comfortable and beautiful again. With a little pampering and lots of love, Bailey is sure to shine just as brightly on the outside as she already does on the inside.  Bailey is declawed, and thanks to her rescue with Fancy Cats Rescue Team, she'll be in a forever home where she'll remain a cherished indoor-only companion, always safe, protected, and surrounded by the love she deserves.  Like many senior cats who may not have received the care they needed, Bailey also appears to have some dental issues that will be evaluated further. You may notice that her adorable little tongue sometimes peeks out of her mouth, likely because of her dental condition, which only makes her even more endearing. Hi, I'm Meryl, and yes...my tail really is this fluffy. I'm a gorgeous calico girl with the softest fur, bright green eyes, and a big, feathery tail that has a personality all its own. I'm about 2 years old, and like many calicos, I have a little sparkle to my personality. I'm sweet, affectionate, and just the right amount of sassy—I know what I like, and I'm not shy about sharing my opinions. In fact, I have different meows to tell you exactly what's on my mind, whether I'm asking for pets, saying hello, or reminding you it's time to pay attention to me. Once I know I'm safe, I'm an incredibly loving girl. I enjoy spending time with my people, accepting pets, and simply being close to the ones I trust. All I'm looking for is a family who will give me a little time to settle in so I can show you just how affectionate I can be. My perfect home would be a peaceful one without dogs. I can happily live with one or two respectful cats, but I wouldn't enjoy a busy house with lots of feline roommates. Annabelle is such a sweet, affectionate girl with a diva alter ego! She is both sweet and cheeky, she loves to play and chase the other cats in rescue. She absolutely loves attention/being pet and will come for cuddles, and snuggle at night on the bed but does not like to be picked up. She is a sweetheart. Eats both wet and dry food and is not a particularly fussy eater.
